To be fair I think most lung adults are absolutely lazy and taught to be ok with who they are. Parents fail to realize that autism and the behaviours that are considered mal adaptive will never be acceptable. It isn't like race were intrinsic bias can be somewhat mitigated. The experience most peopl...

Ive used it many times as a stopgap to burning out. I think you will find most autistic people handle drugs in a very different way. Part of the issue is the rigid way of thinking which makes it hard to go along with what the drug is trying to do. This causes mental stress or anxiety. I suspect the ...

Might be cynical but anyone whose claim to fame is being on reality tv , I mean I just assume they need content to keep them in the limelight.

You get to have an extra 20 years of personal growth in areas you are interested in. But you will have half your life regretting not having them Faustian tradeoff I wish I was able to be a parent. It is not apparent to most that this question about becoming a parent assumes you are able to handle th...

Depends on your age. I was f***able from age 18 to 35. Women cared about aesthetic and looks. I was a 10 in that area. The general vibe of autism people get is being aloof and I suppose edgy although I would disagree as to what I felt but ya , it worked until it didn't. I went from being a 10 to bei...

Avoidance strategy works in the short term. Yes we are more sensitive but these tools can make the issue worse in the long term. It isnt that I'm against the concept. I just think that you have to understand that your starting point may be different from neurotypical norms but you can adapt. You can...

Hated it.

You cannot have a show worth watching were autism is the main glue. It hasn't and won't ever work.

The only show that has portrayed autism in a way that wasn't patronizing is sadly Rick and Morty and that's probably because Rick is many things and autism is just one of them.

Staples , ironically , provided these kids a valuable lesson. The world doesn't care if you have autism unless it is on Facebook or something they can use to pad their instagram with virtue signaling mêmes. The fact that the person running this group did not check before hand is a little dubious. St...

Predators can pick out vulnerable people . Autistic people tend to not be confident and exhude a certain akwardnes. It makes autistic people the perfect target. I was 19 and assumed I was hanging out with people that liked me. They were gay. I was straight. Beggars can't be chooser I suppose ... Was...

Naturally.

Autistic people are makes likely to give a poor first impression . You are statistically undesirable and you don't even have to open your mouth.

That's what the science says on implicit bias and the resulting explicit bias associated.

So learn to blend in , or provide more utility.

It is a typical non sequitur that means the person is ready to offer **** but the intent only applies to the day mentioned .

It is just is a nice way to say good luck.

Unless it is preceded by something specific that you can bring up ... It doesn't mean anything

Autism doesn't make for a good criminal all things considered. So either jail or honest Seems to be your choice.

Nobody is going to steal your money unless you give them a good reason.
