I think about how people with mental disabilities were discriminated against in the 1960s and "NIMBY" ism (not in my backyard) was (and still is) prevalent in American communities. How people were institutionalized against their will for mild illnesses and then abused in those institutions...

I am proud, and I love autistic people (actual autistic people, not trolls or those faking it to get a television/writing/counseling) career. We are interesting people.

I think organizations claiming to help autistic adults find employment are great in theory, but how many are actually placing autistic adults in jobs? How many autistic adults do these organizations turn away? And how is their success actually measured? I went to SAC in NYC called and left messages ...

Dogs do not have the necessary complexity to develop autism. And of course it isn't vaccines, it's been proved time and time again. The should be looking at the other crap they keep pumping out into our enviroment with clear links to illness. Oh and btw, if you think it's 100% genetic, look at twin...
