I have an impression that NTs sometimes confuse empathy with conforming to unspoken social rules. This is profoundly true. Aspies lack the falsity that NT's seem to excel in. If I don't like someone, I will not pretend otherwise, because that is dishonest. We do not confirm to most accepted social ...

I see what you're saying, but there really is only control by government (Communism-Fascism-Socialism, which are really the same thing) and actual freedom, which is capitalism.

That's why I no longer believe in Asperger's syndrome .....until they discover a true organic test to prove its existence in a person. I've been wondering if what is currently known as the Autism spectrum is not just people with extreme personalities jumbled together with people who have actual lea...

I was tempted by the most extreme response to the survey, just to annoy PC types. The idea that masculinity is toxic is of course, bunkum. The usual feminist technique here is of course to label violence and misogyny as traditional male culture, which it most certainly is not. Far from it. Tradition...

I thought dyspraxia was a coordination issue where you have troubles with your balance and you are clumsy. And google doesn't seem to agree what that person said. Dyspraxia is also known as developmental coordination disorder. About: A childhood developmental disorder marked by clumsiness in otherw...

It can be done. I work way beneath where my education should put me, but I pay my own bills. You just have to accept that you may not get the job you deserve. That said, there's no need to starve because of that, or live badly. You can get something. The sooner you start trying to get any job, the b...

Look, guys, this is not difficult to understand. Trump knows exactly what he is saying. He really is very clever. He makes an outrageous statement and you on the left jump up and down in rage and try to refute what he's just said. Meanwhile, his administration keeps on with his agenda, more and more...

Been married for 14 years and have 2 children. It does get difficult. NT's struggle to understand our need to remove ourselves from their company to re-charge. It can be done, though. I mutter under my breath about the things she gets wrong and she tells me when I get things wrong. It's really like ...

No, you don't. I have very few meltdowns and not much in the way of sensory issues. I would suggest, however, that going non-verbal is a fairly strong indicator, if added to the social awkwardness.

Tonight I was briefly talking to one of my co-workers, and when I was through with my lil rant, she said something to the effect of, "Woah, you sounded Canadian, Australian, Irish or like a mix between those just then!". This is not the first time that I've heard such a thing. This is the...

Sociopathy is, however, strongly correlated with success in life, so it has not been selected out by evolution. It is also amazing the number of females who cannot spot the sociopath, so they multiply. Who hasn't seen women who are attracted to the 'bad boy' type? It's a truism. Having said that, mi...

There is a strong left-wing Agenda in pretty much any organization funded by the state, which of course includes state-funded education. This is NOT because of the inherent truthfulness of left-wing dogma, which in the main, is infantile nonsense, it is simply a question of money. The right generall...
