I'm so sorry to hear that. I feel different because of my autism too. I'm pretty sure that I have a mild form of autism. My autism makes me feel different from others. I realize that autistic people tend to be the butt of jokes so that has a lot to do with it.

I don't really have a good social life. I tried to make friends this semester and failed. I tried to join some clubs/activities at my campus. But things didn't work out. So I'm just here on this forum feeling sorry for myself. I currently go to a community college. Making friends at a CC can be hard...

I'm not really sure. My father has made a few comments telling me about this. I don't feel that I lack empathy. I feel that I have tons of empathy.

I have mild autism. So I'm not really familiar with that symptoms. But loud noises after a while tend to be very irritating.

That sounds like a meltdown. I'm not sure though. I think you should get that checked with a mental health professional.

I think I have the same problem. I sometimes hate saying hi and greeting people too. In terms of advice, I guess it is something that you should force yourself to do.
