The issue is one of personal choice. Some people however want to impose their own demands on others which is wrong. I've always been critical of those in the ND movement who wish to ban the idea of curing autism and the idea of treating autism. Likewise claiming everyone with autism should want a c...

Ive seen this channel & others and they are quite good at helping people, although practice is a lot harder than just knowing, i wish these resources existed when i was younger. Those who complain about being made less autistic miss the point. The world doesn't care about our autism, try to help...

There is a significant body of research that demonstrates that the marginalization, discrimination, violence, and abuse autistic people face on a daily basis is comparable to any other minority group. But despite that, we rarely see anyone talk about the marginalization of autistic people. Yep. The...

Most studies point out that most people with Autism Spectrum Disorder are more likely to be victims rather than perpetrators. Why did some scientists create the term "Criminal autistic Psychopathy"? It kind of sounds ableist, to be honest. Those outdated articles are found in Google Schol...

This is the difference v disability debate. Lots of NTs including family relatives may display autistic like traits or BAP (broad autism phenotype) but they are not to the level of autism or where it is a serious problem impacting independent life or employment prospects, this is particularly true ...

How do you know they weren't disabled by their neurotype? My grandfather held a job and did the best he could before going AWOL and eventually shooting himself in the head. My grandmother had considerable depression from the social requirements of masking, acting neurotypical around other women, we...

Maybe I've missed something but i cant see this lawsuit succeeding, how can they prove the autism wasn't there at birth, when medical science don't even know what causes autism apart from genes.

Probably lawyers trying to make money encouraging the lawsuit

There`s a lot of emotional blackmail of people dictating parents how to think about their child`s autism, many of these parents particularly mothers are already vulnerable and suffering from mental health problems themselves. As long as the child is loved and taken care of properly they are free to...

Following on from previous comment it seems a feedback loop is being created ND advocates making stuff up, NTs including some scientists and medical practitioners, those who know better going along with what is said for fear of offending and a misplaced sense of the need to lie to be kind to not hur...
