I have very poor visual and audio processing, but if I can read something and/write it or take notes, I have almost complete/total recall. I love researching on almost any subject and will seek information input until my voracious appe... |

I have had several recurring dreams using the same setting and sometimes similar scenarios. One always involves a house with 3 stories. I would pass through the first story with fear and anxiety, usually it was a wreck and very scary, and i was glad to get to the second story. I would interact with ... |

I thought it was funny a couple of years ago when somebody did a study and a TV special about crows and how they recognize people. If they ca... |

welcome! I am 69, had formal diagnosis at 68, so much to sort out. No wonder you feel overwhelmed. Diagnosis gives us a whole new way to look at life, from the earliest experiences to the most recent. Autism has become a special interest. The more I learn about it, the more "aha" moments I... |

I was trained from a child to "be nice". In effect let others walk all over me and beg them for more. I got therapy when I was about 30 years old, and learned how to set healthy boundaries, how to say no, how to defend myself in healthy ways from aggression and pushy/demanding/bullying beh... |

I was a family historian, a genealogist , when my kids were still at home, very young, and before the days of the internet. It was a lot more work back then to go to libraries, write and phone call, etc to get information. One thing I noticed is that in my mother's father's branch of the family ther... |

ejoy29 you don't mention your age. I am guessing you are adult ? I bet your parents would help you figure out what you need to be more independent. It is nice you have support right now! When I left my parents home I learned there was a world of things I knew nothing about. Finances, how to budget, ... |
