Now that was funny.

Expected, but funny.

One can argue that a profile can lie, but a picture can't. One can also believe that a great many people are fascinated by a pretty face (and body), as evidenced by the myriad of Glamor type magazines.

This is where you post your ok cupid profile, and me and anyone else who wants to can tell you what's wrong with it and what may be putting people off. To make this fair game, I'll start with posting mine. http://www.okcupid.com/profile/glitter-sparkle Let's get this ball rolling. Criminy, that is ...

Short term date sure. Long term date, or even marry? Nope.

The looks are going to simply get worse given time, guaranteed. There is no guarantee that the personality will ever improve.

A short term date may simply be an arm-trophy.

Sex (especially cheating) can be symptomatic of a deeper issue. It's a core aspect of a healthy relationship, particularly early on as it's a reflection of intimacy and trust between two partners. Now, if the trust & intimacy is already there (e.g. you're both 99) then I can see foregoing the n...

When it comes to females am I damned by having standards instead of wealth or a criminal record? Yes. But there is salvation even for the damned. I've known those with criminal records (jail & prison) and those aren't necessarily the type of people you'd want to date (those that date criminals)...

It's 2014 now, and something amazing has happened to me! I won't say who, but I think I may have found love for the first time ever! That is not fair. You're going to have to share otherwise it's keeping the viewers in suspense, a cliff-hanger to a series if you will :) Best of luck regardless, it'...

Men are attractive for their manlihood, the ability to provide for a family and serve himself. The ability to come off better in a fight. It's engrained into our genes. I agree. It's sad, but if a male displays these traits, it's almost like a dinner bell. That's the 100% truth. Females seek males ...

Sounds like you weren't what she was expecting when you met.

The way she handled that was immature.

^^ This.

In management, we call it "fake it to make it" so she should have acted pleasant and at the end, just gone off on her merry way. Or just cut the date short.

I've been with this woman for almost 3 years. When she's sober things are good. When she drinks it's like Jekyll and Hyde, she's horrible. She lies, she says mean things, she picks fights with me, she tells me about terrible things that happened in the war (she's a Desert Storm veteran), she hints ...

The first step toward gaining confidence is learning not to fear failure. Start there. +1 to this. In anything we do in life, the first steps are the hardest. We don't know what to do, we're questioning everything and we're uncertain if it's something we're good at hence it can be a "confidence sha...

I recently stated in the forum of an online dating site that I was thinking about swearing off sex until marriage. Everyone's reaction was very negative. Every thing from advice to learn to separate emotion from sex and enjoy casual sex, to accusing me of penalizing men for my past bad judgment, to...

yes, sorry, I do wander off topic a lot  So, is it ok to ask if facial attractiveness is secondary to the body attractiveness? LoL, no apologies as this is an adult discussion and we're free to wander around to get a better answer :) For me, I think the answer is yes. I've dated girls with ba...

^ so, would it be correct to deduce that you are inferring a number of character traits from someone's physical appearance by generally preferring thin women (i.e. because in your experience they are more likely to enjoy the type of activities you do and have similar attitudes)? Yes, absolutely :) ...
