OK, for this theory to be true, there would have to be a higher incidence of AS in people of European decent. Anyone have information on that? Also for this to be true, there should be zero incidence of Asperger's in those of Asian, or Austrailian Aboriginal decent. Using the mitocondrial DNA evide...

Well Hans Asperger discovered it in Europe....I think their are more Europeans than Americans that have AS with what i have been reading and hearing around. This is mostly a cultural thing, though. In the early 20th Century, I do not believe that psychological research was very big in Africa, or So...

I know that this is heretical around here, but I've always believed that Asperger's is not genetic. Like cancer, I think that there is a genetic predisposition that can be passed on, but I do not think that Asperger's itself is inherited. That's why it shows up in families, but skips many generation...

Because there is no reason to talk.

Come on people: you don't go looking for monkeys at the bottom of the ocean. Unless, of course, you are looking for victims of the monkey mafia. If you are not looking for a hyper-social NT then don't go looking at a club or a bar. Go to a library, go to a play, go to a Native American sweat lodge (...

Nah. It forgets the face of the first person it remembered. Then when dear, old dad comes home, it calls the police on the unknown intruder.

I agree with you, but the truth is that all money is property of the government. We just borrow it to represent the value that we have.

Just like my Social Security card is actually property of the United States, or my driver's license is property of the State of Illinois.

I'd like the power to turn my cubicle at work into a pocket dimension that is invisible from the outside. That way I can do whatever I want in here without the boss coming by and seeing that I'm not coding a database interface.

What's wrong with eating arthropods? I enjoy crab, crayfish, shrimp. Not a big fan of lobster, I find it without much taste. Eating these things is not much different than munching on a large bird-eating spider from South America, or a hissing cockroach from Madagascar. I don't think that I could pe...

Read the book Microserfs by Douglas Coupland. There is a hilarious incident in there involving information that only women should know. It was all summed up in an email sent from one guy to another that simply said "chunky days? Are we supposed to know about this?"

My favorite color is green. It's not as exciting black, not as symbolic as white, not as passionate as red, not as tranquil as blue, not as warm as yellow, not as blatant as orange, not as subtle as brown, not as neutral as grey. Green is just me.

If you have to ask that question, you don't want to know. (I have a sick mind, and can think of many uses for jelly beans -- none of which I would personally do, or describe)

Everybody in here seems to be letting a few bad experiences really get to them. I've said this before, and I'll say it again: NT's are much more varied than that, they are even more varied than Aspies. Just because you don't like red jelly beans doesn't mean that you can't like the green ones.

The developers cannot control which ads appear and which ads do not. As a web developer myself, I know how these Google ads work. The only alternative would be to remove the ads. Who wants to pony up? I might be a developer, but I don't make much money and I'm probably going to have to pay for an ex...
