That video ACTUALLY made me ROFL. I can't tell whether it is parody or something that Fox News or similar minded people put together in a genuine attempt to influence the low-IQ audience that they target. Either way it's damn funny. Obviously you could do this with any politician running any sort of...

I noticed your age. Is there any reason you want a diagnosis now? I don't think they actually do anything for adults really. I'm a middle-aged Aspie (probably, self-diagnosed) myself. I understand they give social skills training and whatever treatment for kids, but by our age we've already figured ...

She might actually like you. NT's do this sort of stupid stuff with people they like. It's some sort of competitive game. She's telling you move your chair and you are supposed to respond in some way that shows you won't let her walk all over you but at the same time, not be totally horrible to her....

Yes, "Meerkat Manor" rocked. Recently they were showing all the episodes in the Natural History Museum in London at lunchtimes which is 5 minutes walk from where I work, so of course I was over there (actually I go there lunchtimes anyway because there is nearly always something cool at that time). ...

Sorry to say it mate, but that is going to make it pretty damn hard. Gay people already have it harder than straight people just because they are in the minority. A straight person meets a hell of a lot more straight people of the opposite sex than a gay person meets gay people of the same sex each ...

It has the opposite effect for me. I withdraw into myself more and find it more difficult to make conversation.

But everyone is different, do whatever works for you.

It's not true that you would necessarily have come to the attention of doctors at an early age. My Mum said she would have taken us all to psychologists if she thought they knew what they were doing but she has no faith in psychologists. Also, Aspergers only became a recognised diagnosis in the 90s ...

I got 30%. I'm actually 50% since my Mum is Irish and entitled to an Irish passport. Actually I'm thinking I might get one when my passport comes up for renewal since the British government is insisting on all this biometric crap going into new UK passports.

The guy who really killed Rachel Nickell has finally been convicted. You can read the story here . This is good news but I am a bit pissed off about the prosecution's reference that psychiatrists had said he was suffering from "Paranoid Schizophrenia and Asperger Syndrome", lumping the 2 conditions ...

"Great looking" has to be a minority since looks have to be relative to everyone else, or else it is meaningless. If you find yourself thinking that say, 70% of people are "great looking" then it's nice for you that you like looking at people but you need to revise your scale to make "great looking"...

And what if you exchanged "drama queen" with n****r etc. ? :) Seriously though, he probably doesn't even realise he is being a dick. I think this can be a symptom for some severe aspies. For instance, my brother who is more aspie than I am often does similar things. It would be totally like my broth...
