Actually, maybe someone can help me with a question in regard to this post.

Let's say I had Borderline Personality Disorder....would I even let the friendship "drop off" without doing something dramatic to get them back? It's become a momentary worry of mine that I might have it.

I keep reading that people with Aspergers aren't good at showing facial expressions or using gestures and speak in a monotone voice, and it is really getting on my nerves. :x I know that no case is typical but the way they talk you'd think that it was. I am actually quite good at non-verbally showi...

Please take this as a light-hearted post: What a hilarious coincidence! This morning, I woke up thinking about how Jewish men are sexy. And so the first thing I did online was to look for websites featuring sexy Jewish men. I wasn't looking for porn; just a collection of random photos of hot Jewish...

Could it be a cultural thing? In the US at least, Catholics tend to be more "ethnic" than other Christians, who have often completely lost the culture of their ancestors (both white and black). Maybe. But totally lapsed Catholics aren't part of my little obsession, which makes me think not so much....

This post is embarassing, but I'm curious about it and have to ask. This is really really odd, but I find that lately (in the past 3 years or so) I have become increasingly fascinated with Catholic men, to the point of having crushes and idealizing them for their faith. It seems to extend to both th...

Posting in "the haven" because I really can't take a voluntarily insensitive response to this. Otherwise, would post in "social skills". I definitely understand that statement, very well. But, I guess it's the hazards of these forums sometimes. Cynicism and insensitivity seem to be an abundant tale...

I am nearly always the person who calls people and texts them first. When I stop doing this, to see what happens, the friendship falls apart. I mean, I am asking for one little nudge to see if I am okay. Apparently, no one gives a crap if I am still living, sane, or have any desire to be their frien...

So I know there's been threads regarding creepy men and I can see why a guy might feel insulted or take the term creepy offensively. Most aspie men might be mistook for being creepy or taken the wrong way but what about women? Well personally I'm always paranoid of guys taking me to be the creepy t...

But I know that I'll never get anyone else. In 25 years, that was the only one I ever had. When you're starving to death, you'll eat anything. Understood. Still, I hope you don't mind me butting in. There are a lot of lonely people out there in the world. I'm guessing that if your self esteem incre...

Yes yes. Thanks for this thread. This may sound like I am just talking about myself, but I am trying to help and work things out by relating to the OP's and others experiences, and sharing mine. I start anger management counseling monday. I have lost jobs, countless friendships, two important relati...

My boyfriend has wanted me to be more verbal in bed for a long time but I just can't do it! I have trouble thinking on the spot and being diverse in my language. If he wanted a dirty letter I could do that no trouble, I find it much easier to be erotically eloquent on paper. Any tips/suggestions/st...

There is an entire series on Discovery Health Channel (I think) called something like "I Was Pregnant and Didn't Know It". A lot of it comes down to women relying on their periods to let them know, but sometimes - especialy if a woman is on the pill and forgets to take one - she will have spotting a...

after being regularly prescribed xanax for about 5-6 months, I can say that it is, I think, making me more edgy in the long run, and also less effective. I can see it starting to affect my memory - not only short term memory when I take it but also making me a little less detail-oriented and organiz...

These songs, played in the background while checking other pages, give those pages a slightly different vibe, making it a left-brain creative, tech-sexier page indeed, This music gives me several suggestions of what to do with my hands as well.

I enjoy these posts as my WP soundtrack
