It's only something you may wish to be aware of. Years ago such topics where not even known let alone discussed. If I would have had access to the information that is out on autism and aspersgers I would not have eventually given up being as social like I did years ago. I would've been armed with in... |

My sister said there was a woman she knew that couldn't stop the milk flow and she wanted to use formula intead, but I didn't have that problem. Maybe I should've worked harder at it or it is my aspie traits coming out, but I didn't enjoy breastfeeding. I wanted to feed a few months for the health b... |

I've fought and "talked back" to my mother since around age 4. I never had any "personality" changes when I was a teenager. I've just been sassy and overopinionated my whole life. It actually can be a good thing if your children turn out the way I grew up. Since I have always been ultra-independent... |

I think it gets to me more because neither dh or myself were allowed such behavior while growing up. We weren't like that till our hormonal teens. She's been wound tight with being sick this winter and having a note home from a teacher that stated she lied, because she wanted what her seatmate was b... |

I tried every method to fit in and feel comfortable I could think of before I found out I am most likely a total Aspie. I finally starting giving up while doing field work for college credit. I don't remember much of it years later or the whys, but my mentor got angry at me and said "you're such a p... |

Our olderst is in elementary and both of us feel like she is acting like a teen and only in grade school. One minute she is playing like a normal child and then the next minute she will say "smart mouth" replies that I would if not knowing her age believe she is at least a tween. Slams the bedroom d... |

[quote="OddDuckNash99room. We Aspies cannot control how we react. Our emotions are intense and instantaneous. My mother often says that it's like I have a "switch" that makes me go from even-keeled to meltdown in seconds, and it really does feel like that inside. There's no warning.[/quote] No doubt... |

I believe I may have a bit of a problem with Audiotory Processing as I need written instruction and good visual aids to learn. That was always a problem for me at work as they want you to learn fast and with little help in most businesses and it caused me a lot of stress. I have difficulty tuning ou... |

Welburtrin helped? Really? I find that those drugs make me less responsive which doesn't help at all. And bc can be bad for lowering drive. I want it and then sometimes I do go ahead and do it for him. Other times Im so tickllish it's not pleasurable when he touches me a certain way. I wish I was mo... |

I've never felt attractive and oddly have had both positive and derrogatory comments. Strange, but it seems the thinner I am the more attention and positive comments I receive. While reading these posts I realised we've most likely have a narrow and created standard of beauty in our heads. I remembe... |

I am a mixture. I clean up pretty good Im told, but as soon as the event or evening is over off go those dress up clothes and makeup and on goes the sweats or lounge pants.
