I wasn't planning on starting a business until a little later, but I wanted valid opinions. I'm not looking for "easy and fast ways" to make money since there doesn't seem to be such a thing in the business world. I'm researching IT niches that I have a strong chance of filling successfully. Here is...

I found out more about the CIP program, and they have it at UC Berkley. It was one of the schools I applied to, but I have only a 1 in 10 chance of being accepted. They have resources to help students with learning disabilities thrive in college.

I can handle college level work. I don't think he's worried about the academics. A lot of people have told me to try community college, but I refuse to go to one. I want to have a University experience and learn independence. Community college just confines me to my town and home. I'm going to talk ...

Don't mind NaturalTrapist, she's not interested in helping as much as she likes to belittle people and argue. If she truly wanted to help, she would try a different approach. Just ignore her and concentrate on the good advice. Anyway, I think the best thing is to talk to a psychologist or go into ta...

My dad yelled at me sometimes as an infant and young child. I don't remember anything about being yelled at. I just remember he was an extraordinary father in many ways, and he still is. Relax, as long as you don't do it often, babies won't even register it. Baby brains are more interested in other ...

My dad is really concerned about me going to college to live in a dorm. I'm his last child, and I have aspergers. He tells me that I need to show him how to be independent, but he doesn't clarify on it. I'm going to college as a minor. I'm worried he will refuse to let me attend college. He can tech...

Most computer science courses in universities concentrate on one or two languages throughout the year. Often it's for Linux, C++, C#, and Java. When you get past sophmore year, things tend to get more interesting. I encourage you to learn the languages you want on your own and request help when you'...

I really don't get along with most of my peers at school. I find them to be inflexible and opinionated. I won't talk to them unless I'm talked to first. Sometimes, it's hard because I've recently lost the ability to pronounce certain words, and they ask me if I'm alright. A lot of them like to start...

Sorry, I just got really excited. It's something I'm working on. You are right, Chaos. You are requesting proof of an ability like a regular client would. If someone sat me in front of a computer, I could do what I claim to do. I can build security applications, complete graphics, and write raw code...

Hi, KenM. It must be frustrating to have to defend how you are feeling when all you wanted was advice and help. I urge you to ignore the insensitive remarks that others might have posted. Remember, if they really wanted to help, they wouldn't personally attack you. Take their advice with a grain of ...

That's very interesting. I love learning the new developments in Open Source, but I haven't heard that much about ColdFusion. Something I'm working on is a somewhat intelligent software. It collects information and will change a main component of its code to meet a certain condition the information ...

Well, my dad told me I couldn't get an internship for an independent web development company. I'm really distressed. He told me I should get a job at the local library or retail instead. He always told me, "You aren't better at websites than I am," even though I easily found out his website had alre...

There are ways to cope. Somethings are unavoidable like the crowds. Before going out, I suggest you find a fabric you enjoy wearing. If someone bumps into you, it won't be as bad since you feel the fabric more than the touch of them. Something else which helps me is crossing the street once in a whi...

Yes, he will be given a chance. "My world is a collection of pitches reverberating throughout the deep corridors of my mind; shifting in unique patterns. At times, it is a fruitful orchestra. At others, it is a somber requirem signaling times of hardship." I analyzed his voice too. He only lies when...

Those symptoms indicate just that. ...Or he wants something from you. Find out what kind of a guy he is, perhaps he's just one of those people who's hoping to manipulate you and then use you for copulation. Or he's genuinely in love with thee. Though personally I'm leaning more towards the first. M...
