Has anyone come across this congenital malformation during their Asperger-reseach? Recently it came clear to me that it fits even better than AS on me. There's some information on it on Wikipedia, but the article is a bit short. Basically, the corpus callosum connects the two brain hemispheres and a...

I'm currently in third year, med school. Studying in Hungary, the hard way. If you thought dealing with patients in your mother tongue was hard, try doing it in one of the world's most difficult languages :P So far surgery seems to be the way to go. 15 Years as a hard core gamer has its benefits whe...

It seems like there are Aspies out there who get response to their problems by the people in their community. When I find interesting topics written by these Aspies (to which I can relate), I like to read them.

I'm with you on the gait thing. I remember as I grew up, people used to make fun of the way I walked by imitating me as they passed me by on the street. Also after I started with weightlifting my back became rather wide while my arms didn't grow much, making it look like I was walking around with ca...

I remember the first day of anatomy class. I was standing one meter closer to the cadaver than the others.. Also in physiology I was always the one who decapitated the frogs. I think most people of the western society has become progressively softer the last 60 years. I feel like I'm emotionally stu...

We have to pay attention to every thing we say or do in order to make sure they come out right or are appropriate. Is it really that weird we get self-absorbed?

When wandering about outside in the city crossing streets where there's traffic, I always find myself looking at the car instead of the driver when a situation occurs.

Anyone else who have noticed this?

If Sheldon is an aspie, how come he never gets nervous around people? I think he's too designed. Altohugh he does corky and offensive things to others, none of them can be interpreted as mere cold hearted, as many of a real aspie's actions would be. His peers seems to cope somehow and get along with...

Today a tragic event took place at my university here in Pécs, Hungary. A 23 year old hungarian student opened fire during a biophysics lecture, killing a fellow student as well as injuring four others. We heard the shots from the neighbouring building during an anatomy practice. http://news.bbc.co....

That was unfair of them not to include you, even if you weren't planning on cheating anyway. At least you took the test honestly, even though you failed. The rest of the class will probably get in trouble for cheating at some point, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you haven't done ...

That being the case, what is his reasoning for accepting the other 100% tests since 1 flunking grade is a drastic discrepancy. 33% or less making that kind of grade would be more feasible, given that you said it was a tough exam. I know i'd be curious as a teacher if all but one of my students pass...

If he gave your test back, id go over the answers and compare them to notes/books/experienced references just to make sure the teacher isnt flunking you. If this is a college exam, it would be wise to bring this up with your adviser and probably the dept. head (just to be on the safe side). Chances...
