What do you refer to 'it' as (most of the time: if you occasionally put something different then just go with what you usually put)? In conversation, I refer to it as Asperger's, and then explain that it's a mild form of autism, as most people understand some part of that. Online, I refer to it as A...

I get upset and angry easily, but thanks to horrible group therapy, I was taught to repress all my emotions, so no one knows. I just end up crying myself to sleep virtually every night. Fun, yes?

You know, I never knew it wasn't normal to see colours or smell things when people said certain words. I always thought everyone was like that, until now.

I have only had 2 relationships and they were with people I knew ahead of time and was good friends with. So I don't know if its easy for me to start relationships. I do, however, know that it is hard for me to make new friends and change my routine to include people I care about.

THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS! I had my bf from Louisiana up in Canada for 10 days and, at first everything went well. It was all good and we were having fun. Then, on Sunday, 2 days before he was due to leave, he asked if we could just be friends for now, until I move down there (I'm planning on going down ...

I love it! Only, the reason I like it isn't on your list. I like it because it seems like it never has to end. I can just keep playing it and messing around forever! I never have to stop and I don't have to repeat stuff, either.

Since I was a small child, I've hated meat. Mum always makes me eat it, though. The only meat I like is chicken and only then if it's deep-fried beyond recognition. I'll also eat ground beef if it's in something without complaining. My meat hating was the cause of one of the things I do that makes m...

I find that classical music, with any type of headphne, is a good noise canceller. I use it in class to keep from going mad.

I could negotiate. "Give us what we want or we'll release our supervirus into your mainframe!"

See, I'd get us whatever we wanted.

I know what you mean by "it's not releuctance," Feather. I just get totally distracted. Like, my mum tells me to do dishes, I decide I need a strawberry yoghurt (one of my current "obsession foods". It used to be peanut butter) and the dishes disappear. Well, they disappear from my mind, but not my ...

Quote: I can't stand flossing, but mum got me a new thingie that makes it easier and says I have to use it or I'm in big, big trouble. I also hate flossing... what is this thing your mom got you that helps with it? The dentist (and my parents) always harrass me about flossing more. It's kinda like ...

I haven't read much by Michelle Dawson before now, but I'm going to be following her stuff now. I didn't even know my country was so anti-autistic. I'm Canadian, obviously, and The only classic autie I ever knew was being treated at home by his family and they were paying big bucks to try to figure ...

I'm 18, and even when I had hair down to my butt, I got mistaken for a 12 year old boy. I've looked exactly the same since the 8th grade, almost 5 years ago. People often mistake me for my younger brother, or did when he was still smaller than me. I'm the shortest person in my family, aside from my ...

I have a hand problem and have to use an electric toothbrush to save wear and tear on my tendons. I can't stand the thing. I sit on the floor in the doorway to the bathroom and brace my feet and back against opposite sides of the door frame. Sometimes, I even climb the doorframe this way, trying to ...
