| I am wholly in support of this idea. It would be especially useful for informational threads, enabling the poster to compile information in the OP and then delete posts to keep down the clutter. |

| It should be possible to block just those ads with a finely-tuned enough adblocker, assuming you don't just want to block them all for some reason. |
