Curvy, full figured, a few extra pounds, BBW... all euphemisms for fat. Because you know, it is easier to invent some new word to apply to oneself and make oneself feel better for 2 seconds, instead of fixing the actual problem for good. There's nothing wrong with a woman having curves. That is how...

My husband uses this term to describe me (and he's an Aspie). He says it means I look like a woman - with a chest and hips- an hourglass shape.

some people like this others don't.

1. 28 (hope that isn't too late to still be able to help out) 2. Teachers who accepted that it may take me longer to do some things (like math) while encouraging those subjects I couldn't get enough of (English, History). 3. Trying to force me to learn something ONE way- especially multiplication ta...

It's a short hand term. I like it. I think it's endearing. It was a term created BY Aspies, mentally handicaped people did not create the term "ret*d" so it's is nothing alike IMO. IMO those who get up in arms over it are being a bit defensive. I mean, if they don't WANT to be called that that's fin...

My sister failed 3 times- it was really upsetting for her. But, you know what? That doesn't mean you suck at driving or that you are a failure in general. It just means the intricacies and ins and outs of driving laws (which a lot seem very random and illogical) aren't that interesting to you. Sure,...

Ok, look. if you want to know WHAT to do, we've all said it. Ignore her. Who is she to you? No one. So who cares if you have her respect. If you ignore people like this they WILL go away and stop talking to you. If you feel the need to engage they will continue and there will be no end. People like ...

I was a very unhappy adolescent (happy young kid though, before I realized I was "weird" for preferring reading and lone-play like Legos and LincolnLogs to interactive play ) Once I got to be about 8 or 9 I finally realized that not having friends was not "normal" and others kids really picked...

Ignore her. Some people seem to think this is "cute", they do it out of "affection" (pretty much everyone in my extended family does, most of my immediate family does not.). For instance, my cousins LOVE to poke fun at how "nerdy", "old-fashioned" and pale I am (nevermind they are a different racia...

I would just ignore her. You can do comebacks. Sounds like she does it all the time so it gives you time to think up of comebacks to say to her. Ignore her or do comebacks for every time she insults you. But are you sure she is just insulting you than trying to be funny and doesn't know she is insu...

I don't like light touch either. It makes me itch....even the soft brushing of my clothes against my body can set it off. I'm sure I remember seeing a film about somebody with autism who got a lot of relief from being squeezed in some kind of squeezing machine that had originally been designed for ...

I like to call them "fascinations". I think "obsessive" can also carry a negative connotation. I am definitely fascinated by my special interests. Good word. "Fascination" really captures the sense of wonder and peace when I am doing my favourite thing. "Fascination" comes ultimately from a Latin w...
