Did anything fall off? I'd be very anxious about trusting a recent Boeing product. leaking O2 valve from what I read, in the 2nd stage Centaur engine. Apollo one (January 27, 1967) failed on the launch pad and incinerated 3 astronauts. Apollo 13 (April 13, 1970) was, in the words of NASA, a "successful failure" in that the astronauts were able to learn survival workarounds despite the damage caused by that exploding O2 tank. |

there were some implausible details in the movie that distracted me from whatever message it wanted to impart on me. I will concede that it was an entertainment of sorts in that it made me think. |
