| so here's an update on my crazy life. mammy went back with steve's brother. her mind kept slipping. she kept trying to escape in the middle of the night too. she actually got off the couch and scooted to the kitchen (she is bedridden and only has one leg). as soon as that happened we got a futon and... |

| my blood sugar seems to be going down. i've been working really hard to remember to take my morning medicine and so far have only forgotten once. i'm also doing better at trying to make sure i eat. i simply forget to eat. i also replaced all the sugary stuff with sugar free. my average was down to 1... |

| when my kids heard the name, they immediately picked up on it (i hadn't of course), so they gave me the nickname "booger butt". my kids and my best friend and i laugh about it together. i guess though if it were someone other than people that i love that i knew were laughing with me, i'd be more ups... |

it just seems so impossible. i can't even hardly take care of myself now as it is. i don't see how i'm going to manage this. if i can't even manage to cook for myself now, how am i going to do it when i have to do so much more.

| i assume it's type 2 (isn't that the adult onset?). i don't know what medication i'm taking yet. my son and his friend are picking it up for me. all i know is it's twice a day. i've tried the medicine strips before and it never worked because i would forget to fill it up. yeah i know, pretty bad, bu... |

| i didn't vote mainly because i'm so torn about it. i think that if it weren't for my kids, i'd rather be dead. i'm so tired of the struggle. tired of trying to do what is expected of me and failing time and time again, and then being judged because of it. i honestly believe if it weren't for my kids... |

| i like writing novels and have two published. definitely fiction over nonfiction. i'm supposed to be working on a nonfiction and am really struggling. i also write some poetry and short stores, but i like novels so much better. i need to write. about the only time i feel alive is when i'm in my head... |

| he does have sleep apnea, but he still has chronic insomnia and nothing helps. plus he has problems with sleep paralysis. so i guess those are things that clued the neurologist that it might be narcolepsy. our teenage daughter has started having sleep problems too. she didn't have sleep apnea but sh... |

| thanks hermit, yeah, i'm feeling a lot better. the stress level around here has gone down a couple of notches. i don't know if steve finally got the message or if maybe he was still going through withdrawal before (he had to get off of his pain medicine before he could go to the state hospital), but... |
