we actually have a blanket that looks similar to a dental vest - but without that pesky lead everyone seems so concerned about now-d-days - it's meant more for sitting than the regular weighted blankets - it's at the sommerfly website.

10% of body weight for a blanket is a misnomer - it came about due to the lack of research on weighted blankets so OT's and others just took the research done on backpacks - supporting weight in a standing position - and used that as a guideline.
