When your brain receives a stimulus, it is automatically transmitted down a specific pathway that has...

I would just ask him, or ask a friend to ask him. He probably won't show how he feels about you in a typical way.

All I know is my own experience, and I been told that whenever I've had to go under or be on pain medication (wisdom teeth, etc.), it affects me a lot more than it does my NT siblings.

I also did really well academically, but I have a very difficult time dealing with people in the "real world."

Do you ever feel like you wan to get back in touch with old friends but then feel like it's too much of a commitment? I used to have a really good group of friend back in London (I moved to Cambridge last January) but we were very intense, we used to see each other a lot and they would constantly i...

People, usually my wife, complain I walk too fast. If I try to walk her speed, I find it maddeningly slow. Sometimes, I walk backward just to approach her speed. +1 That always happens to me! If I'm walking/hiking with other people, they complain I'm going to fast, but I also find it maddeningly sl...

You know, just to generate more dialogue and awareness.

Absolutely, have that conversation right away--your friend's engagement is the perfect opportunity to bring it up. Obviously I can't know what your BF is planning, but keep in mind the things you've described don't automatically mean he's making plans. When friends of mine decided to get married, I...

1. I find what your grandfather said highly offensive. God created you and me this way, and He loves us for who we are. Look at all of the great things people with AS have brought to this planet (Einstein, Newton, Bill Gates, Beethoven). Seriously, God wants autistic people around! :) 2. Just be you...

This will show you the source code for the page you are on. (If you do this on your topic's page, you will notice that what people ha...

They think forgiveness is where you "let go" of the bad things people have done to you (not "forget") s...
