I've never had an issue with physical contact so long as its warranted and it doesn't catch me off guard from behind. As for intimate physical contact as in a romantic/sexual relationship, I am actually a very physically affectionate person.

I'm really curious what kind of people you all spend your lives around. I never have people just randomly try to touch me. I had people do these at a resteraunt I worked at part time for 9 years. I guess because we worked so close to one another and for so long people thought it was alright to touc...

It varies for me. I saw the whole A but with the chair the seat was clear, the back out of focus, and the legs almost nonexistent.

On several occasions people have had to point out how bad what just happened was, but if I feel betrayed or disrespected it takes me an insanely long time to get over it.

Mine spans the spectrum: dry, witty, sarcastic, off color. Sometimes VERY off color. I tend to gravitate towards people with rather dark senses of humor. I don't get in as much trouble with my jokes that way.

I am currently majoring in Criminal Justice. One of my classes touched on the subject of autistics individuals committing crimes. Statistically, people with conditions such as autism are no more or less likely to commit crimes of any type than an NT.

I have, at times, gotten a word stuck in my head which is repeated over and over to the point it no longer sounds like a word I recognize. I once got the phrase "there is method to my madness" stuck in my head. I couldn't figure out how it got stuck in there as I hadn't heard it recently and it was ...

I find I emulate those around me more so than characters on TV. I do, however, see some of my own personal traits in the characters.

It is a closely guarded fact due to my chosen career field's views of autism. Only a select few outside of my family know. Makes sense. Very recently the U.S. military decided to exclude those with AS from enlisting. I was unaware of AS when I enlisted so I couldn't have disclosed it at the time. H...

Unless I'm wrong about when we moved out of the house we lived in at that time, my earliest memories are from before I was 2.5 to 3. It's possible that some of these are recreated from stories and pictures, but not all. I have a very clear memory about sleeping on my stomach on top of a stuffed anim...

It helps when the NT is upfront, open, and honest about things. When they are anything but and play games keeping you guessing it can be VERY taxing. I'm dealing with that right now and it's causing more stress than I've felt in a while.

I do this from time to time, more often when I have a lot on my mind and am not presently occupied by anything else. My visual awareness usually drops rather fast though when I start doing this. My eyes will be wide open but all I will see is whatever is in my mind's eye.
