I don't know if this helps, but if he's creeping you out, he should get some feedback from somewhere that it has been noticed, is not reciprocated, and needs to stop. A very firm "No" in some way. It could come from you, but that may be very difficult for you to do. It may be easier if som...

I got a sewing machine last year for christmas and have been taking some lessons. It's really enjoyable to make something useful. I also knit and do a ton of embroidery. But it is problematic to always want to make stuff when you are around people who are very much into buying everything. Sigh. I ke...

When I've lived or traveled in the third world, getting it in a sealed bottle was always preferable. Otherwise, iffiness reduced the enjoyment. This does not seem to be the case.

I think your tea room was slightly tacky, or the staff got a bit overwhelmed at that point.

Don't know if this'll help, but I know that if I was absolutely terrified, and told a dentist I had a massive phobia, and would it be okay to ONLY look at things and not do anything, then most dentists would totally do so. I had a lot of bad experiences with dentists when I was a kid. Eventually hap...

You can enjoy your clothes. I enjoy people who enjoy what they're doing. Just don't look down on me because I prefer flannel and t-shirts. Everybody expresses themselves in their own way. You do with clothes. I do with embroidery and knitting and gardening. I promise to not think you are materialist...

Rats_and_cats, I used to have rats. They were nice and crazy smart. Now I have cats. They are also nice and crazy smart. I think the combo would be problematic, especially since we encourage our cats to catch as many mice as possible. UnturnedStone, maybe helping her find ONE other human to trust. I...

Are you talking about meltdowns? Here's what my guys (my husband and my best friend) have found to help when I am totally out of it. It is helpful to have two people to rely on, because no one person can deal with me all the time. Sometimes they need to do their own thing. The best friend lives far ...

Black long sleeved shirt, black fuzzy socks, black jeans, far too much cat hair. Which is also black. Or pretty close to black. I think the proper term is "agouti." :cat: :cat:
