I feel that there are more similarities between different races, than there exist differences. Especially more so for Aspies, for we face similar exclusion from our society. |

I currently live in Singapore. Am I in?
I like Singapore, I just hope more people can openly discuss their experiences living with autism somewhere. Wonder why this isn't happening. |

Hi Archylas.
I am currently in Singapore, and I look forward to chat with you. It's always great to know another person with Asperger's, just like me.
Perhaps we should mail bigcat86 (at) live.com together. |

I sometimes wonder, what is worse: Discrimination against Aspies in Asia (our home), or Discrimination against Asians in a land more tolerant of Aspies? From my own experiences living in both Singapore and other countries more accepting of autism, I guess both are bad, but it really stings a little ... |

Fellow Asian, it seems...judging from your username. Taiwanese? :D For girls, HSNU has the same cutoff grade as TFG...403 points out of 412, a rough PR 97... Yeah I think I'll get that grade or better but I'm just really worried. PR 99 is the only way to be absolutely sure I'll get accepted. 8O Edi... |

Don't worry, Taipei First Girls' High School... is not the only school in Taiwan that matters. HSNU is good, too.
I don't quite understand the obsession to get into the best schools in the country, because life is a longer journey than High School |

Just to note the point of this topic and the forementioned article is due to the fact that in Singapore, autistics are portrayed in the media as lower functioning and dumb. I believe this is an insult to all of wrongplaneters here? Singaporeans are the most obsessed people about IQ and performance ... |
