Large ears and long face/oval head are two of the features associated with fragile x.
There are many people with fragile x who also fit the diagnostic criteria for autism.
Fragile x accounts for about 5% of autism cases.

I've always found it difficult. I regularly miss appointments or turn up days early, sometimes the more I try to get it right, the more wrong I am. People think I'm just not bothered, like they have gone to trouble to be somewhere at a certain time or day and I'm being inconsiderate by not keeping t...

I am 5'9". The only abnormality about my height is that I continued growing until my early 20s, unlike most girls. Actually I'm almost certain girls can keep growing into their early 20's a lot of the time. I think it's 22 when you can say you've stopped growing for sure. Maybe 24, but 22 is more l...

Its worth watching the 'one year on' videos too.
I think the depression is making it less clear what type of autism Tom has, either that or he is on medication for is anger (frustration) issues. or both.
I can't help but like the lad though. (as are oli and alex)

My memory isn't great. I can though, swat up on a subject, write it down, summarise it, then summarise it till its a very basic shortened version, and this way I can mrmorise it for long enough to sit an exam. I forget the information quickly though. If I need to learn something that needs rememberi...

Ideally, I would combine the seasons to make 'sprautummter'
sprautummter would have snow, baby animals, golden brown leaves and the sun would be high in the sky so you don't get that sun-blinded thing when your driving. no annoying flying bugs, and halloween 4 times a year.

Whyen I'm depressed or stressed out, I throw myself even deeper into my obsessions because they help me cope better. But during the times when I lack a special interest, it causes me to become really sad and unfocused. In short: being depressed doesn't cause me to lose special interests, but losing...

To answer my own question, for me, if I'm stressed I go into special interest overdrive. But if I'm depressed (not just a bit down, but really depressed) I kind of shut down, and struggle to find the motivation to get up, let alone show any interest in anything. I always find repetitive things comfo...

Ok, so I was wondering if anyone has lost interest in their special interest when they have been depressed. The phychologist told me one of the signs of depression can be to lose interest in activities etc that are normally enjoyed. I am also wondering if depression (and possible 'missing' special i...

As far as black hair dye is concerned I do a patch test every time even if it's the same product. Scary what can happen. On the subject of Sodium laureth sulphate, I have stopped buying toothpaste containing it (very rare toothpaste) in the hope that it was the reason I was getting mouth ulcers. So...
