It's interesting to read about your experiences. I've completed an undergraduate degree in psychology, am doing a master's in mental health and am about to start an internship as an assistant psychologist, working with people on the spectrum. Here's hoping that it goes well!

I often make boarding schools, or have one or two teenage sims try to raise children.

I always put my food on a plate/in a bowl before putting it in the microwave - I'd heard that plastic containers can release carcinogens when in the microwave, it's not much effort for me to not take this chance.

Scuba dive with sea turtles - I'd love to explore underwater.

If you could choose one food to disappear forever from the world, what would it be?

Doesn't this game have hentai in it? There is an option of turning off the hentai scenes (I don't think there're that many to start with, compared to other visual novels). In one ending I turned off hentai and saw a picture of a chinchilla instead. ew what did he do to it? Nothing, it was just a ch...

Another thought: does anyone think that Yuuko might have aspie traits too?

Have completed Hanako's route, and last night finished Rin's. I think Rin's an aspie - she has issues relating to people, seems 'in her own world', goes off on tangents that are seemingly unrelated to anything, very talented at what she does, but still has 'normal' fears and desires, just no way of ...

Has anyone else played this visual novel? I played through Act 1 a few times until the full game's release a few days ago, and have been playing the full version since then. Of the 5 character routes, I've finished Emi and Lilly's, and am about halfway through Hanako's. I think it's a great game, I ...

Dungeon Keeper 2 has some great quotations:
"You have an excess of Mistresses. There's a word for keepers like you".
Your dungeon floor is lumpy. Order your minions to jump up and down."

I feel I should clarify a few things. No, I don’t believe that I’ve magically developed Asperger’s just because a piece of paper told me so – since I was 14 I’ve vaguely suspected that I’ve had traces of Asperger’s, and became more sure of it around a year ago. Still, it felt that since I didn’t hav...

I just went for my assessment this morning, and a clinical psychologist said that she'd support a diagnosis of Asperger's. I'm very happy about this! :D
...that's all I wanted to say.

I live in England, I can tell you my recent experience with trying to get an assessment for diagnosis (I'm 20 years old). I made an appointment with a GP in March or so, and told him that I thought I had Asperger's and would like to get an assessment. He didn't seem convinced, but agreed to put in a...
