I was diagnosed when I was very young. Around 7 or 8. I don't remember any extinctual crisis because I was still a child in a single digit age. An IUD would be too painful to put in. I never wanted children anyway. Everyone said I would regret having a hysterectomy so young...

DW from the children's show Arthur reminds me very much of me when I was little. Same here! D.W. was my favorite character I never understood why everyone seems to hate her. But then people also hate on Muffin Heeler from Bluey who is kind of like D.W., just a 3 year old still learning how to maste...

I'm 100% convinced my grandmother was autistic and my mother is autistic. I think my dad was too. My dad went no contact with his parents ever since I could remember. He never talked about them and we never saw them. We just didn't talk about my father's parents. My mother's father passed away when ...

Assisted suicide should be available anyone over the age of 21 who wants it, regardless as to why. No ones pain and suffering is any less or any greater than someone else's. Someone struggling with debilitating depression should have just as much of a right to an assisted suicide as someone who has ...

One of my friends is an undiagnosed autistic lady. She refuses to admit she may be and says "that's very asinine to assume that". Internalized ableism I guess. But anyway, she worked third shift for decades and is now basically a vampire. She says she always functioned better at night tha...
