@DW mom - Yes thank you so much for pointing that out. I will definitely be checking out the parenting index. Me and my gf will be in a situation in Beijing where we will need to home school the boy. I can already see now that this site will come in handy all the time. I have done some research on A...

I haven't heard of the Zork series, but I watched some videos of the newest one "The Grand Inquisitor" on youtube. I looks alright. Has your son played any console games like games for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Gameboy, Game Gear, Playstation, Wii, etc? I dug up my N64 and here are the games I ...

I see. Yeah, I have thought about this as well. I want to try the games with him. It will honestly be exciting to see a young boy enjoy and get excited about video games that I also enjoyed and got excited over when I was a young boy myself. I guess that is a natural feeling that comes with parentin...

Ok, so I will be returning to Beijing to work and live with my long time gf and her autistic boy. I want to first mention that China just learned about what autism was as early as 3 years ago. Due to this fact, I am skeptical if her son really is autistic because the doctor might not know as much as...

@ripped - It is funny that you mention this because I do this all the time. I wonder what it is other people are seeing that I am not seeing. I just did it again this morning. I honestly do look scary looking. I just have one of those faces I guess. I am really thin, so I have the high cheek bones, ...

@sacrip - I know it is not because I am not good looking and because I stare. I am pretty sure the problem is because I just don't really look friendly enough. Even when I smile...it feels forced. I think people just pick up on my negativity and realize I am not someone they should be making eye con...

@Yuugiri - I catch women looking at me when I am not looking at them all the time. @MjrMajorMajor - They never look back at me once I have looked at them without smiling (sometimes even if I smile!). I will admit I don't smile at women often (now because I have a gf) but before because I am just not...

@hyperlexian - Yes I do. That is not my point though. I wasn't trying to flirt with this woman by any means. I just often find myself interested in doing little social experiments and simple observations once in a while. I am assuming that everyone who replied was correct. I have been told in the pa...

I am like the most unapproachable person in the world. I think it is because I am so antisocial and awkward. In public, I always catch myself daydreaming and thinking deeply about things. I don't really focus too much on what is going on around me because I know that I am never welcome to it. The pe...

@Summer Twilight - Well how do you think she will talk to me and do you think she might actually like me as more than a friend? I am not interested in her and I wouldn't ever cheat with her. I don't want to meet her ever actually. I just worry that one day, while me and my friend are working on some...

@Rascal77s - I think the father doesn't care about the child really. He never seems to want to spend time with him even though they have shared custody. He always says he is too busy and only spends time with his son for a half day once a week. Based on what my gf tells me...he seems pretty nonchala...

@Danimal - Thanks for the heads up. We will check it out. What other states in the US are good for autistic programs that are reasonably priced?

@ASD mom: First off, I think you misunderstood. We were not talking on the phone. We were chatting online and I thought it was my best friend joking with me. He has pretended to be somebody else but usually always admits that it is him after a few minutes. However, this time it was clearly not him a...

Yes I will speak with an immigration lawyer before she comes here and before we marry. My gf's ex husband currently pays half for the educational fees (for autistic schooling) and living fees, but he would stop paying for all this if my gf (his ex) left the county with her son to live with me. I wou...

Yeah, I am thinking the same thing. Just have her and her child come in as visitors and then we should have no issues getting married in the US while she is on a tourist visa? Also, she is Chinese and I heard that it it more difficult for Chinese people to become US citizens than other foreigners? I...

Yeah I had a feeling this would be the case. Well I was thinking that maybe she should just come here with her son without the paper that states he is autistic. I don't think he comes off as autistic when you look at him. His behaviors are not so obvious. I don't think that immigration would look to...
