My icks include most vegetables, some fruits, and squash. I can relate to this a lot, just with me it’s most fruits (except for berries), some vegetables and most salads. :? It used to be more extreme as a child, but now since I eat more vegetables it has gotten better. There are many fruits I’ve n...

Personally I think that the increase in diagnosis frequency, is due to better screening methods and a broadening of who might be considered autistic, now, versus say, a couple of decades ago and beyond. That’s what I think also. Also even until the 80s and probably also 90s was a huge stigma when i...

I travelled quite around in my life… I’m from Germany and I used to live in Oklahoma City as a teenager for a year and later I moved to France, Iceland, Italy, Switzerland, Austria and now live in Denmark since a bit over two years now where I bought a nice house. I was so happy about it and my cat ...

I think it’s interesting that several here relate to many disorders… it’s simply because our brains are wired in very unique ways in my opinion. What affects me the most is my trauma and my mood disorder, if I could deal with those in a better way, this would change a lot I think. The most annoying ...

I needed a long time to out what’s wrong with me or in which diagnostic categories I fit best… 1) autism with speech delay (I started speaking age 5 1/2 and auditory processing disorder 2) trauma related disorder (I don’t think I fit in the diagnostic criteria of PTSD anymore, but I used to, late on...

Yes, my social skills also increased after transitioning. But also also has to do with stress relief. I can cope better in a social world when I feel better. :)

But transitioning was very hard for me and my dysthymia never vanished.

Well my brother is a narc and I needed quite a while to figure it out. There might be some overlap, but also many differences. He had severe ADHD as a child. He’s constantly lying, even about little things. I probably had never really a conversation with him where he wasn’t lying, especially when he...

Non sono italiano, ma ho abitato nel nord Italia da un anno. Ho studiato qui la pasticceria e ho anche lavorato qui in un albergo da pasticcere del ristorazione e dell’albergo. Mi ho piaciuto molto Italia, mi piaceva particolarmente Torino. Ma lavorare in Italia era difficile per me.
