That actually is the case for every girl I ever dated in college. They all had more money than me. Heck, I did not even own a car until after I graduated & worked my butt of in Fast Food (Yuck! NEVER AGAIN) until I bought a beat up Chevy. I always worried that women looked down on me.. I also ki... |

Someone needed sa study to determine this? You could have asked most of us here.
Interesting how they still assume most of us have no understanding of our condition. Absurd, but true.
Sincerely,

Yes, and for complications relating to kidneystones. In fact, twice that same summer. Once, while having bladder spasms before having them removed. Then, after the surgery, I started a hemoraghing(sic) and the same ER doc sent me home, with no pain meds or muscle relaxants. Guess I had been there to... |

I always had problems with this area. Not for lack of desire, but many of the fine points I missed out on, being generally an outcast/outsider in High School. Definitely desire both love & sex, but am a complete idiot when it comes to getting either. Which was REALLY ironic in College since I ha... |

Gary Mckinnon(sp?) How many here are aware of the disclosure project & the people involved.
Absolutely mind-blowing stuff, yet no press attention here in the US.

Well, not actually cookies. Those Internet files that build up over time, I forget the old term, maybe misc. Internet files? Windows 98 & XP used to have a utility for cleaning them up.. Last time I used a free app for cleaning out cookies/viruses, it cost me my desktop from the virus some hacke... |

Only a problem if it becomes excessive or you kno longer know who is talking!

I suppose its like any other discussion site on the WWW, people come & go. Heck there are a couple of places, like Healingwell that I no longer visit much, though I consider it my support group for my Crohn's disease. Well, there were also some internal politics over there & a couple of my l... |

I suffered that conversion thing back in 1980 during my own "Great Depression" in my Senior year at HS. Physical symptom, numbness, that I actually twisted to punish myself for my sister's death. But that is a long story & I digress... Nothing stated above is vaugely psychotic in anyway. Sincere... |

I did not hit the mid-life crisis thing until my 40s. At least this time, I was on schedule! I actually did TOO much partying in college when I was living in my dorm. I was trying, for once to fit in, with a small amount of success. But I was also self-medicating because of my loneliness & an un... |

Hmm, now that I am more aware of the problems, I just know when I am headed for the rocks. I wish I had been more aware in my college days, but AS was not even recognized back then. I did drink too much back then, in order to help with the social diffculties. However, NOTHING is worth a hang-over! A... |

I went away to college at 21 (after spending 2 years going to LSUS) down to LSU, Baton Rouge. Wanted to, but also my new stepfather was the very definition of the word "Jerk". But that is another story? The first semester, I had some depression issues, homesickness ( I was also highly in love, but i... |

I doubt its dead. I have other beefs with the new manual, but concerning ASD, looks like a few new things were added just so some shrinks could make some money.
Grief over death of a spouse? Gimme a break! That is normal human emotion...
