I have no problem riding a bike (except that now I basically can't because my OCD is too severe). But I needed training wheels for what my parents had me brainwashed to think was a long time. It really bothers me when they have the "you're a big girl you should be able to (fill in the blank)" type o...

Sounds like hidden tension, and that's not ok that your parents try to make it look like everything's all right. I hate that, but I'm not sure what to say because it's like parents are bigger than God and you have to scream pretty loud before they listen. My advice: Do not "Wait and see." This will ...

Maybe some sort of "supressed memory" of a traumatic experience in school? Maybe it wasn't just the kids. Maybe your teachers were just as mean to you. Physically, sexually, or ESPECIALLY emotionally or verbally. School is basically a prison where fear is instilled into the minds of young people by ...

Yes! I'm noctournal! How fitting it is that I'm called a "Snowy Owl" here! Hoot! Hoot! There's something about the night that makes your mind spin! I can sort out my thoughts better at night and I daydream (ok, well actually "night-dream") of having two roommates (kind of like in a college dorm) who...

Have you ever considered phone counseling? I work with a phone counselor and he's the best therapist I've ever known.

Note: I apologize for making duplicate posts (which I have already deleted). I did not realize that my first post had gone through ok.

As I sit here and write this, millions of children and teenagers are being oppressed every day through compulsory schooling (which is much more about controlling them than it is of educational value), censorship in school, having no say in American politics, and the fact that parents are allowed to ...
