I told my fiance with in 2 weeks of talking to him, before meeting him. At the time, if I was going to have a relationship with him, it would be long distance, and therefore a large investment of time and gas money, so I wanted all the cards on the table. I never use those terms for anybody except for a comedic effect. I don't make up nicknames either. I might use a short or longer version of their name depending on which one sounds cooler. Just for fun, try calling your guy "Stud Muffins." I have in the past. He laughed. I got the same response. |

Terms of endearment are weird. I do you some ("my dear", "dearest", "love") as it is important in relationships for each person to feel valued, and terms of endearment help my fiance feel valued and loved. I have tried other names that I have heard in public or on facebook, but most fall short and i... |

1. This probably belongs in the Work and finding Job section instead of General Autism Discussion 2. It depends on if you will need an accommodation. Although for a temp agency I suggest first saying what kinds of jobs are NOs, if possible do this with out saying autism, but if they push you for why... |

I am glad that you realized your problem. Depression is often seen with increased drinking, but it really only makes it worse.
Have you considered an AA (alcoholics anonymous) or other support group? Even if you do not have full alcoholism they can help. |
