I've had NT partners and currently with an NT partner. I must admit it can be difficult but you just have to invest more time with your partner when it comes to understanding so they can meet on the same level as you if that makes sense

Hey Guys, I'll try to keep this short as i know this story will be all too familiar with fellow aspies in relationships. I've been going out with a girl for about 6 months. We've had snags before but have sorted them out but i'm worried about things more now as it seems my aspergers is becoming a bi...

That's exactly it. I was the one the volunteer the asperger's due to my difficulties with organisation. big mistake really in hindsight. They have used this as an excuse to latch on to. Agreements had been made that we were going to focus on ways to improve my ability on dealing with these more diff...

Standard office work really. I worked in social care so i had a wide variety of calls coming in so i had to deal with...

Wow you poor bugger, that must be awful but yeah like you said, factory work isn't bad, it's rigid, methodical and therefore less likely to cause any form of anxiety in that department. The JC have been fairly strict but since mentioning of the Asperger's they have taken a few steps back. I see what ...

Yeah, this ties in well with the whole Gary Mckinnen extradition story. It does baffle me how some people are so ignorant about Autism and Asperger's. Such comments like "His asperger's is unrelated, he's playing on it" and "He knew exactly what he was doing and he had every intention to destroy the...

I know this might not count but I am a Canadian Citizen myself. But born and raised by my Canadian mother in the UK. I went to Alberta/Saskatchewan for a month to visit family and didn't want to leave. Breathtaking scenery, lovely people, laid back approach. Better quality of life, the list goes on....

Ass-Pur-gurs is how i would pronounce it. Here in england they pronounce the G like a J which is highly annoying considering it was a German Phsychologist who discovered it.

Has anyone ever noticed how there is trellis everywhere in the UK. I heard it's meant to be for supporting plants but it is used as fencing and just general decoration. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone know why no other countries seem to have the same style (square trellis) I mean, everywhe...
