Guess people would see me as successful as I do earn enough income to support myself and my mother as well. I have been in emotional turmoil for the majority of my life, though, and wish I could better adjust to living in this mostly NT world without feeling so constantly battered and alone :(

Hi and welcome. Kudos to you for loving this special man. If you go by your own yardstick and not society's expectations I'm sure you'll continue to further develop and deepen your relationship. All that matters is how you feel about him. Best wishes! :)

I took Japanese for two years, and I'm trying to keep with it now. My mother says she loves me, but I've never felt it much from her and have focused a lot on the abuse I received from her. My father, I believed loved me, but left when I was 12 and never came back so I doubt he really loved me. It's sad when you get parents who aren't there for you to love you unco...

Oh...I loved the movie so much I went to see it three times in the theater. Will get the dvd, too, when it comes out. It was very touching, wasn't it? Stephane definitely seemed to be on the spectrum. Gael Garcia Bernal portrayed him with such sweetness and sensitivity. Loved it. Thanks for remindin...
