I'm a 28 year old male with mild Asperger's. I have met many other people with asperger's throughout my lifetime although most were male. I have noticed though that the few females I have met with asperger's or ASD tended to lack any desire of sexuality. I personally have a strong sex drive even tho...

My guess is that you just haven't been diagnosed with tourettes YET.

I have noticed that people with asperger's have a higher chance of having autoimmune problems (asthma, severe allergies, psoriasis, eczema, etc.). I personally have mild asperger's and am asthmatic, have moderate psoriasis, and had eczema in my past. Is there any evidence to back up my theory or is ...

According to the DSM's criteria for schizotypal disorder I have some of the symptoms. I too prefer to be alone and hold beliefs that many people may find unorthodox. However, define "odd beliefs". How is someone who believes in telepathy and UFO's any more "odd" than someone who believes some deity ...

I wouldn't say he's more libertarian than Ron Paul. Being pro-abortion is really the only thing that could be considered "more libertarian" which has more to do with when you think life begins but I believe even Gary thinks it should be a state issue rather than a federal one. He's expressed suppor...

I think you most definitely have a point there.

Seeing as the original Jews were essentially breakaway Arabs who made their own racist religion, I'd say they qualify as an ethnic group. How is taking steps to prevent someone running in with a bomb strapped to their chest, and blowing themselves up in a marketplace, racist? What are you even talk...

Gary Johnson is one of the republican candidates running currently. He was New Mexico's governor for 8 years and New Mexico thrived under him. He is a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. His views seem even more libertarian than Ron Paul's IMO and he appears to be a total genius (again, IMO). ...

It is a religion. ANYONE can become a Jew and any Jew can become a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc. If Jews are an ethnicity why do all look so different? Why are there Jews of all races?

I just got a reply from Autism Speaks about the email I sent them. Here it is: ""Hi Mike, Thanks for your email. Sorry it took me a little while to respond to you. Sorry also that you have that opinion of us. All I can say is that we certainly don’t mean to talk down to anyone. We’re well aware that...

Here's an e-mail I just wrote to Autism Speaks expressing how I feel about them. Tell me what you think: As someone on the autistic spectrum I find your organization to be incredibly patronizing and insulting. Instead of encouraging the acceptance and tolerance of people with autism you make it see...

I think that aspergers is a subset of high functioning autism, though not exactly the same thing. People with high functioning autism tend to develop their language skills later than non-autistics but people with aspegers usually develop language at the same time or even earlier than non-autistics.
