Battlefield 1. I'm playing just the Campaign (solo) stories right now. I'm not sure I have the reflexes, reaction time, and emotional wherewithal to get into the multiplayer side of things. Prior to this I got into: Banished - Fun and interesting for a few weeks. Factorio - This was bordering on add... |

I find there are different kinds of friends. Those with whom I am expected to spend face/face time tire me; online friends work better for me. So rather that hypocritical I think of the distinction as discerning. |

I would take all of that as meaning she prefers the company of other people to mine. Time for me to move on. |

Yes, my sensory issues as well as other coping matter definitely are worsening with age. I understand that a university somewhere has *finally* initiated a study on the aging and autism. I am hopeful that some useful information will come from that. There is now precious little on adults with autism... |

I like it - such a fun song. I have not heard or even thought of it in years. Thanks for bringing back fond memories. |

I have lived in a small flat for about the last 20 years. I have come to prefer it to the average-sized homes I once had. I enjoy the ease of cleaning, challenge of efficient space utilization, and no maintenance of yard, plumbing, roofing, gutters, and so on. Today when I visit those with more typi... |

Brick is my favorite TV Aspie. As much as I enjoy Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang, I find Brick to be a more realistic portrayal. |

Just the mention of those, or even seeing a picture of one, can bring that awful sound to mind. It is my third-most detested sound. The first two are fingernails-on-chalkboard and dentists' drills, in that order. |

Many uni's have some sort of LGBT group. I hated going to those regularly, and did not do so. But when they sponsored a movie night or something I would go mainly just so that I could then spot gay folk on campus and maybe nod hello and see what developed. I met my first BF on campus. It was a class... |

Tell your therapist everything. Based on my experience and that of people I know, the likelihood of your mom changing is very, very slim to none. In such unfortunate cases, distancing is the only workable option I've seen. |

Great pic! I can definitely envision you rockin' a tie-dye Tshirt, some love beads, and flower in your hair. Link: San Francisco - Scott McKenzie |
