This has been on my mind for some time. You hear about doomsday brought forth by the rise of AI, taking jobs, and assuming mankind is obsolete, but you never hear about raising one, teaching one from the start of infancy; having it learn and grow in the same manner as a human being. Teaching it not... |

Much ado about nothing. Half of what you're saying are statements like this. "I never get anything out of WP, never mind the fact that I never put anything IN to WP to earn getting anything out of it...boo friggin hoo.". The other half are complaints about how shocked you were to learn th... |

Your response is the most cogent so far. Better it is, I suppose, to seek out another rare personality than seek solidarity among the masses. Unfortunately the same obstacles are then manifest as would be if this were a forum for NTs. Since one's individual tics are rejected as a whole to find anot... |

Even though many push for an "autistic identity" and solidarity as Aspies facing a world that is not accommodating to us, noble as it may be, I feel neither a sense of unity nor belonging among other Aspies any more than I do Neurotypicals, simply as a virtue of us being autistic. Maybe i... |

That looks like a great outlet for you to utilize when you feel that your idea has been exhaustingly outlined in writing. |

Thank you. Could you give me links to information on syntax differences and publishing. Here are links to what a white paper is and it’s format. However you need to decide who you want to view your paper and where it gets published for yourself. I would look at psychology journals that accept publi... |

I think you may want to write a white paper rather than a research paper on it. A white paper puts forth an idea and supporting facts that the idea was derived from and sometimes offers ways it could be tested/researched, but not always. As it stands right now you have an idea so you’re halfway there. |

Sorry for the late reply, I've been intermittently busy/exhausted lately. Kicker: Thank you for the suggeestion. I looked over the site, and the books I saw tended to either be irrelevant (a lot of business and web development stuff, and I'm going after games) or out of date. The most recent game-s... |

Hiya, all. So I've written a book on autism science and I've been having gads of arguments with the publishers over a title. I really like the title, "Defining Autism," which summarizes the content really well, because it looks at many different biological aspects of autism. But the publi... |

I feel like the black sheep everywhere I go. This place is no different. In a way it doesn't bother me because I'm very much a loner but it's also frustrating when you are lost and need real guidance This is for a different reason than you stated...just have qualities/beliefs or whatever that doesn... |

Just for clarification and to simplify the problem let's review. You posted to social media of choice either pictures or text. You expected likes and shares of those posts. When they didn't come You became upset. You started to imagine generalized reasons as to why based on your own insecurities ab... |

I might want to do more research into what I want to do, but for me it is hard now to think of something I do that I can code, even if I do have something I'm not thinking about. What language did you start out with or can you recommend first? Hear me out on this. You asked what programming languag... |

So, how do you handle rejection on social media? I don't participate in the game and post to please myself not some one else. However I don't use the main players in social media such as Facebook and rarely use any other "network" including this one. What are your thoughts? Social media i... |

what do you think? Here's what I think. I believe there is a process by which we as a society progress towards an open dialog with those we view as being the minority. Pernicious myths, in particular stereotypes, are extremely hard to dismiss in a single instance; such as a conversation or lecture,... |
