I tend to make music mostly with hardware/modular synths, usually in the geekiest way possible. Here's one I'm currently working on - self generating music!

Academics have always encouraged criticism in a system that tries to hold the status quo, and naturally that tends to be a "left" thing to do.

You'll see this with scientists etc. too - they also tend to be left for similar reasons.

Is it a problem? No.

Still does not fix the DPI issues though. Having both a 1080p and 4K monitor for this reason is a nightmare.

Would I pass off as one? Hahahahah no

Some days I'm okay, other days I can't even talk properly. I even grunted at my boss once when he said hi, because I didn't know what else to say.

I was born with a willy, so I consider myself male in a biological sense. Don't really care much beyond that, apart from my beard. I don't get asked for ID with the beard.

It's a theme I've noticed too even in the past - any sign of success is shot down, invalidated or dismissed on here. It hurts too close to home for some because it only reminds them of their failure to learn from their failures. Failure is a major learning tool in achieving your goals so it really ...

That said, ashbashbeard, congratulations. I do sincerely hope you'll be ok. It's not a personal attack against you, but more like a rant because the title itself and the "using AS as an excuse" part was very triggering. I'm not going to apologise for my title. It is not my problem that it...

Weirdly, yes. But I was referring to OP. Aspies can be and have been known to be competitive/begrudgers too. I've seen it a lot even on here.

And NTs posting on here get flak too.

Some people might have it worse, some not - but at the end of the day, they're still human, with their own goals. I don't see the problem in encouraging them to achieve their goals.
