It seems I naturally mimic what I hear from those around me, rather than keep a constant way of speaking. It's natural for me, probably something related to my ASD, but seemingly a rare thing for anyone to do. I recall when I was very young, I found many other people more interesting than myself, s...

I'm still recovering from the so called Holidays. I am not sure how much it has to do with boredom though. More with overload. The Christmas Eve was fine - I visited the family I like and they talked about interesting topics, with little situations of two people speaking at once (everyone was usuall...

I was told I sound like a foreigner on multiple occasions but wouldn't specify. Nowadays people tend to assume I am from Ukraine because a lot of them moved to Poland recently. I speak Polish (I'm native speaker) and my grammar is really good but the melody and pronunciation sounds off, especially i...

ADHD is a disorder that makes it difficult for a person to pay attention and control impulsive behaviors. He or she may also be restless and almost constantly active. So it sounds like you fit that description. After a few seconds you become bored and crave change. No, no. Its not a few seconds. Mo...

What are your counterindications to ASD? Well. I like sarcasm and I was always interested in idioms. I remember understanding them well during Polish or English lessons because I could figure them out logically (for example "every cloud has a silver lining" is positive because when a clou...

A few years ago I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome after getting self-diagnosed and somehow pushing the idea to my therapist. Now I am having doubts. Back then I had all the stuff listed in AS/ASD diagnostic criteria. I was 25 yo pretty girl with barely any friends, no boyfriend ever and living ...

I am not sure what numbers in () mean because I don't play that game so I will use them as buffs/debuffs. Con: 7 (+4) usually I am easily tired and bored, but if something catches my interest I can do it for a long time. Dex: 11 (-4) better than average, unless tired/bored, when it's get pretty bad....

It depends how you describe maturity. If you call someone mature because they can keep themselves from overspending money then I am more mature than NTs. If maturity for you is living on your own and having a wife/husband then I am way behind. However before I was diagnosed with Asperger I was diagn...

Remember there are different types of inteligence so you are not stupid just because you can't do some things if you are also capable of doing other things very well. People (or even you yourself) might call you "stupid" if you can't do what others consider easy but look at all the stuff t...

There are 3 basic ones. Which one is the strongest depends on the situation, my mood and what is going on in my life. Sometimes one or two of them doesn't seem like truth but at least one of them is at any given time and at the best times of my life all 3 are valid. 1. I am curious about the world. ...

It seems like a case of social phobia. You are afraid of people judging you so you constantly look for signs that they are judging you - just like a scared animal looks for signs they are about to get attacked (normally if you walk past a normal dog it will ignore you and go it's way, but if you are...

Today I had a bad day. I am a little ill - I woke up feverish and the first I ate was a throat ache pill because my throat was sore. But I couldn't stay in bed (and I didn't want to) because I had classes I wanted to attend. I left on time but my friend, classmate and roommate forgot her wallet so w...

I write down the day I opened something that has a short expiration date "after opening". Such as milk, jam, jogurt etc. Because I never remember when I opened them and while 3-4 days might be save a week is often not, even if the product doesn't seem or smell weird at first glance. I don'...

I have good sense of humor and I am good at picking up absurdities around so I often laugh out of blue and let other people know what's so funny. Sometimes they laugh, sometimes they look at me like I am crazy or cruel. I will also laugh at what other people say although I am not sure about the genu...

That's why I set a timer when I am cooking. If I get too absorbed in something else (and I most probably will, because waiting for food to cook itself bores the hell out of me) I won't hear or smell the disaster in kitchen till it becomes a mess. I hate cleaning up.
