:pale: There are too many threads supporting Trump and racism that happen here. I just got horribly upset after someone posted this- "Statistics prove blacks are more violent. Fact." :( Some one actually posted that comment. That sort of thing makes me sick and I don't want to have t...

" Statistics prove blacks are more violent. Fact." That statement looks racist to me. It's one thing to discuss crime it's another thing to see statements in a thread like that. Blacks are NOT more violent! Sonicallysensitive that is a horrid statement and everyone, black or white or whate...

I think I suffer from sleep inertia for about 5 hours every morning.

Interesting to hear about the sunlight alarms since I was just starting to consider them. Sounds like they are what I need.

Can you imagine if this same sort of discussion was about autistics? And someone can find papers out there with titles like this "Template to Perpetrate: An Update on Violence in Autism Spectrum Disorder" and this "Violent crime in Asperger syndrome: the role of psychiatric comorbidit...

Don't worry too much about your parents disapproval. It's going to hurt but as long as what you are doing isn't hurting yourself or others than there is no reason to let their opinions get in your way. I'm glad of so many times I ignored my mom and went ahead and made my own decision and I think she...

Asexual people most certainly exist, don't listen to anyone who says they don't . Of course they do. However, you are young, just wait and see what happens. I pretty well second this. Leave it up to middle aged cishet to pump that asexual erasure. You are young still though, so this is all new to y...

People rarely say anything to me anymore about any of my stims. When I was young I might get teased or it might make people worry but now, nothing. Don't know why all the comments mostly ceased other than a change in social circles. I rock most of the time, kick my legs, pull my hair, circle my thum...

I lost 1 1/2 hours and a 1/2 hour (two separate occasions) in my twenties. I don't think it's common to either AS or age (you are only 74, right? that's not that old.) Stress or medication induced? Did they tell you anything else? Sorry about your lost Saturday but glad you got a Trump break :D .

I really like Mack's Dream Girl foam plugs, they fit me well because they are smaller than most other plugs.

I grow in Coco and air pruning pots. Air pruning pots allow for smaller pots. Coco Coir is great, because it is nearly impossible to overwater. I take generation after generation of cutting. I use hydroponic fertilizer. I use beneficial bacteria and mycorrhizae. I admit I put a lot of time into my ...

I have tomatoes that were started on the Solstice in the dining room window with supplemental lighting provided by a light clipped to the shelf above. It's a Winter tradition for us. The little guys will get to go out when it's warm enough and they should at least be blooming by then. Never had any ...

I would love to see them all moved to a special place called Threads That Will Raise Your Blood Pressure and Cause Anxiety Attacks. When you are as easily lured into a political argument as I am, but really don't have the skills to handle it, knowing there is just one section to avoid would make the...

This is all really interesting. I have switched to decaf tea in the morning for awhile and am going to experiment with caffeine a bit more formally to see what it does to me. What does chocolate do to anyone? I always think it helps me sleep, but that may be wishful thinking more than anything else ...

I remember green tea once helping me get through a meltdown that started in the middle of Barnes and Noble. I never thought about caffeine having any effect, there isn't much in green tea, but maybe. It was a relatively mild meltdown, just a lot of loud sobbing in a public space until I could get to...
