Ah, OK. I was just curious to know if it was the games themselves or the social aspects of MMORPGs you were into. I like killing stuff with big flashy weapons, and exploring the world. =) Talking to people ingame is cool too, but I'm mostly the type who reads the quests and lore and likes collectin...

If I try to read out loud, I start stuttering more than normal. It's very frustrating.

So when you say RPG games, do you mean MMORPGs?

I mean the genre in general, though my personal experience has been console and PC RPGs. JRPGs like Final Fantasy have always had a lot of female fans.

I don't play tabletop RPGs so I have no idea how the gender breakdown is there.

I used to leave the game on just to hear this:

The orchestral version of it is even better.

Also, the classic Zelda theme is pretty great also.

One of MC's best features is how moddable it is; it can become an entirely new game with certain mods. I think in a game like MC where its mostly about making your own story/creations, it's not really cheating.

I've been playing games seriously since the SNES, and have always liked games. In recent years I'm almost exclusively a PC gamer, even though I grew up playing primarily the SNES/Genesis/PS1. I think especially in RPG-type games, there have always been a decent population of female gamers. I think i...

I usually play MMOs or Simulation/RPGs.

I played World of Warcraft for 7 years, which was the longest out of all the MMOs I've played. Currently I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur, Spiral Knights and Minecraft, and waiting for Guild Wars 2 to be released. =)

From The Aspie Quiz, I got 50/200 NT and 151/200 for my Aspie score.
I didn't save the graphs though. I was pretty much all on the right side of the circle.

I did not read your whole text and just stick to the headline. All my "friendships" were connected to the common special interest that I had at that moment and when this special interest changed or I had to move from place I could not maintain a "friendship" anymore. Then I alienate from people. Th...

If I force myself to make eye contact when someone is speaking, I end up spacing out and just staring blankly. I also have a hard time actually paying attention to what they're saying. If it's someone I don't know well, it's even more difficult. To me, understanding the substance of what someone is ...

I've always been sympathetic to the Topfree movement, especially on hot summer days when I'm still expected to wear a bra and all that crap. I think it's such a dumb double standard. I always wear as little clothes as possible (tank tops and loose jeans are my favorites, no matter what time of year).

You'd think that would be obvious to everyone, but it seems not. I've never understood judgmental people, myself.

I have read, that in general dogs LOATHE coyotes (and vice versa) because even though the two are very similar in appearance, to a dog the body language of a coyote is just 'off' enough that it agitates the dog. Sort of like the animal version of the Uncanny Valley, I guess. That 'familiar but not q...
