Advanced placement classes count as one additional point, so with them you can score above 4.0. Anyway, what's with this multiple valedictorian thing?! I've always understood that *one* person was chosen for that role. I'm reallly not surprised though.. I imagine that 20 years from now, everybody in...

I was at a Boston Market once, and next to the register was a sign: "Don't forget to ask us for a tossed salad!"

I couldn't even talk because I was trying so hard to not laugh my ass off. With the way it was worded, I'm sure whoever made it was aware of the double meaning.

Computers Noise-cancelling headphones Mid-80s Buick Riviera/Olds Toronado. They had touch screens in the dash, almost 20 years ago. It used electronics to do all kinds of things that normal people would either not notice or consider pointless, but I think are cool. For instance, if it's light out (a...

I've never copied a fictional character, but I've watched a friend of mine socialize with people and get further than I ever could, so I try to emulate that. Perfect example.. I needed to have a motorcycle engine crated and shipped. I called a shipping company, and the guy I spoke to said they only ...

In unfamiliar social situations I tend to either clam up completely and don't say a word to anybody, or else I tend to be a bit on the brash and abrasive side (accidentally butting into conversations, not making small talk, giving overly honest responses to people, etc.). I really don't know if I'm ...

I'm completely unorganized, and my house tends to be a disaster area. I just don't think about cleaning for the most part. My only redeeming quality is that because of my good memory, I can remember exactly where pretty much any given item is in the pile of stuff I often have surrounding my work are...

Yes, I'm accused of being abrupt all the time. Especially when I'm busy working on something. Unlike most people, I can't work on something and carry a decent conversation at the same time. I have to drop everything to talk to them, or else my conversations go like: Them: "Hey, what's up?" Me: "Hmmp...

My problem with cars is they tend to be annoyingly slow and don't handle well, or else the sportier models scream "LOOK AT ME!! I WANT ATTENTION!!". That's why I drive a Lincoln Mark VIII. It looks like something my grandparents would drive, but it handles quite well and has a 280hp V8. It's a prett...

I have no fear of job interviews at all. I think it must be the idea that it is a structured meeting and I pretty much know what impresses people. I actually much like interviews even though I haven't had one for over 4 years now. Is anyone else like this? Same here. I pretty much know what I'm goi...

I wouldn't sweat it. If it's an engineer-only gathering, it's a safe bet that many people there will be in the same boat as you. In all likelihood, socializing will pretty much be limited to small groups of people who already know each other and work together every day.
