Became ill again, and once again have no clue as to what is causing it. My mum observed before that my random nausea episodes might be a sign my immune system was fighting something off, but since they've gone I've developed persistent, low-grade stomach pain. Now it's been a few days of the same fa...

I've always been quietly amazed (but concerned!) with free-divers for this reason.

Annoyed with a long-absent busybody on another site. She founded an art group that I have helped administrate for a long time indeed, she eventually passed the founder role onto me and subsequently disappeared, for years. Now she's randomly back, amazed at how I've single-handedly managed and got th...

I'm good at getting rid of most material items... except books! It pains me still but I eventually forced myself to switch to an E-reader for the sake of literally having no more space available for them. Every year or so I go through my wardrobe and mercilessly divide between what I wear, and what ...

On the scale of attraction and disregarding the havoc depression has played on my ability to even remember what attraction feels like anymore, I'd say the types I'm interested in generally hold to extroverts and naturally confident people. I seem to feel attraction strongly towards my polar opposite...

Sorry to hear what you've been experiencing. The brain can truly become it's own worst enemy, for sure. :( I commonly have sleep-based hallucinations (hypnagogic or hypnopompic), and definitely understand what it's like to be hearing those snatches of conversation as if they're in another part of th...

Submitted work in to my tutor, intend to remain completely useless for the time being and finally - finally - finish my extremely belated Halloween art.

One of my cats can be very sulky, but if one just lets him into the bathroom, he'll immediately sit in the tub and purr manically and become really affectionate. I wish humans were as simple, and that sitting in a ceramic basin was all one needed to cure the blues for a time.

First uni assessment for my module is looming. I'm behind again and it's entirely my fault - I've been going through a creative drought for a few months, now that's over I find myself working obsessively on my artwork to the exclusion of everything else. Whenever I think I have my priorities in some...

Who was your advocate?

They work for an advocacy called 'Pohwer' (pronounced phonetically as power); clearly up to their eyeballs in cases like mine, but I salute them. Only wish they and others like them weren't so badly needed. :/

I'm so sorry to hear about your assessment's results. :( I've almost had a mirror-image experience with the ESA process: 0 points awarded. Went for a mandatory reconsideration a couple weeks ago with my advocate, who I'm delighted to say really bullied this second assessor! Still, the fact whole cha...

Finally appeared to have 'reset' myself after an awkward moment between me and another member of the autism group I attend monthly. I've since been told by a friend I've made there that she's started massive arguments with other members before, so count myself lucky I did not rise to her bait and ke...

When I first started taking notice of music pre-teens, and by extension other preferences like style, I don't think what I liked at the start were really my 'choices' as much as they were my older sister's choices. I'd listen to her music, covet her clothes (and when she wasn't around wear them and ...

The number of leaves stuck to my cat's 'trousers' (she's very fluffy) has steadily increased throughout October, though I expect it will go down to nothing once frost sets in. Sometimes I feel like making a completely useless line graph depicting how the number of leaves she brings in varies over th...

Haven't had a very good week, hoping the next will be better. Noticed for a few days now there's some slight swelling behind my ears; lymph nodes was my guess. Some would-be cold could explain why I've been feeling so lethargic, though I have no other symptoms (probably jinxed it now!)

Parents sprung a surprise family visit on me and I just couldn't cope. I just wish they'd give me some degree of notice in the future before they tell me they want to drive 50 miles into the middle of nowhere.
