Will do!

Although I don't post this in pride - want to show that there is an autie friendly autism society out there - I am so honoured by this. Rumor is that I will speak on a panel or two. Don't know what about yet. Yip!

I LOVE THE ASA!

Thursday night, my local chapter of the Autism Society of America, of which I am a board member, voted to send me to Orlando Florida in July so to be our official representative at ASA's national conference. Some Autism groups don't like autistic people much. Not the ASA! As I have heard, at ASA con...

I just met an autistic gal who had been thought mentally ret*d. She had tested at an IQ of 29. But then her therapist taught her to use a "LightWRITER" (and no cheating too - I watched In real life). Seems her trouble was communication difficulties all the while. She actually has an IQ of 133 and is...

Seth, for what it is worth, I am your sister in pain. I grok and I give a damn. Haang in there - for what exactly I can't truly say - but hang in there.

my life is not yours, however, there are sufficient analogs that I think I do understand the net overall feelings you have. I find that I simply am always near that edge - not necessarily of giving up as in a cowardly leaving the game, but a deeper giving up. . .wherein I simply lack some sort or me...

I am over there too and know what happened. A member there trashed all "self dx'd aspies" too in a mode of autism snobbery. Well, I am self dx'd aspie. Wasn't hard once I knew what Asperger's is. And I am not at all mildly autistic. And since I am old, I wasn't dx'd in school as Asperger's hadn't be...

I grok and am sad for you. My das wasn't mean to critters. But he was mean to me and my sis. Beaten - without guilt - til we'd bleed. I don't get it.

I find depression always knocking at my door.

I am a conservative liberatarian. I am not so I can justify greed. I have never been greedy. I am not to justify wealth, I am as poor as dirt. I simply believe that each owns his own life. That means that each owns also the product of his own labour. I am old and in poor health. I own a business bec...
