Not really, but it does suck when they get to define what's normal and what's weird just by the sheer number of them. Yeah I totally agree with this. I really hate the fact they can consider me weird or a bad person because I don't fit into what they perceive to be normal. But no way do I put NT's ...

It's a combination of both for me. My sense of taste and smell are definitely hypersensitive - there are lots of foods I absolutely can't stand because the texture makes me feel ill and there are lots of food smells that just make me feel sick, and most perfumes and air fresheners just give me a hea...

Yes I have always had this problem. Sometimes it's very embarrassing as when I realise I am doing it I worry that people think I'm taking the piss out of them. Certain accents I pick on more than others though - if I really hate someones accent I think I work harder not to pick it up than ones that ...

I don't know. I'm 26 and usually only ever get ID'd when I don't have any on me...which is really frustrating. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think I look about 30ish, other days I think I look quite young.

Unless I am focused on something I find interesting, my mind is a 1000 miles away and if I'm dealing with something I find confusing my mind is in such a jumble I can't think straight. I have to break things down into very simple steps. I'm feeling a lot like this at the moment. When I get somethin...

Well I certainly don't have a vomit fetish, but some think I'm strange for sticking my fingers down my throat to make myself sick when I'm drunk so that I can make room for more alcohol.

I guess I'm alone here but I actually cringed watching that and found it slightly offensive. :?

Does anyone know if the actors in the film really have AS?

Less anxious and usually more able to socialise. I usually get more talkative, extroverted and honest when I'm drunk, although if I'm feeling really depressed to begin with then it can make me feel worse and get tearful and sometimes very aggressive.

Everything about Sheldon says to me he's an aspie!

Next to Dexter Morgan, he is my favourite television character purely because even though I'm not a science genius and I hate sci fi I always find myself laughing at little things he does that remind me of myself.

I love Sheldon :D

That depends on how you define "attractive." I used to be very slim and was considered attractive by quite a lot of people. I hated it. Men only saw me as an object to lust after, and women were too jealous or insecure to want to know me. Because of my AS I found it really difficult to deal with the...

I consider myself a feminist. I get really annoyed by women who constantly put men down. Where my partner works women can wear whatever casual clothing they want but the men all have to wear shirt and tie. Also they come out with things like "men are all useless because they can't multitask." I get ...
