Hope there are dinosaurs! Not so much giant spiders, though. Thank goodness for insular dwarfism...but the explorers should be prepared for insular gigantism! Unless the vegetation in that place results in a region where the air is much more dense with oxygen than the current average on the rest of...

Still not even pretending to run a democracy, I see. Well, I don't expect that will ever change. A pseudo-democracy we are not a democracy. we only have the trappings of democracy. What part of: "The law will apply to all", don't you guys understand? I'm really not sure w...

I seem to be way late to the party on this discussion, and don't feel like reading pages and pages to catch up. However, in response to the OP, while I'm normally of the opinion that there are no saints in war, and still operate on that premise here, I do not fault Ukraine for doing what they need t...

I don't know much about Europe's political scene, but assuming it shares some similarities with the rest of the Western world, I assume it will be predominantly atheist by the next century, if it isn't already. As for whether Muslims account for the bulk of the religious population however...I reall...

Russia needs to shut up. If they wish to make good on their threats, they can also deal with being dead. Nuclear war benefits no one, and that includes the Kremlin.

This is what you get when you have a man running a country who should be in the closed ward of a psych hospital. Nato's been around for over 70 years. It's given no indication during that time that it wants to attack Russia. Why would it want to? It would be a case of 'Oh we will all fry together w...

Of all Ukraine's concerns, I don't think the economy is their number one priority right now. With that said, we're clearly not doing enough to Russia's economy to make the war too expensive for them.

I'm sure Ivanka will get an opportunity to be a greater despot than her father. Who could ever forget Eva Peron and Marie Antopinette. I'm sure she will carry her father's torch. She actually seems to have a decent head on her shoulders too, but that scares me more, because she has her dad's tenden...

...Putin is slowly looking better each day... Oh heck no! Define "better". That man is a monster, and nothing about this conflict is justified. Keep in mind, he's the whole reason all of this is happening. The blood of many innocents is on his hands. As for Zelensky, well, I'll cut him so...

Good. The demons in charge of that country are the last people who should be involved in any kind of council centered around human rights. Pity they aren't man enough to take full responsibility for their actions. Hopefully they will be made to foot 100% of the bill once the conflict they're involve...

My man, after the month I've had, I can't say the thought has never crossed my mind, but I know there's meaning to be had, and I'm not going to throw in the towel. Whatever is prompting you to think such nihilistic thoughts is only a setback.

I heard about this a few days ago. It doesn't seem like much of a bounty, but then again, that is in dollars, not rubles. That would probably be a lot of money for a poor Russian wanting to avoid getting hit with the brunt of the inevitable depression in that country. On the other hand, that also is...

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: As if. "As if" wot? It's an expression that means, fat chance of that happening. Modern democracies rarely if ever attack their neighbors without provocation. So I hardly doubt that Russia would be in any danger. At least not from NATO or Ukraine. Which is proof that ...
