The media says that if you aren't having it you are a lonely loser who is missing out. Look at most of the threads here and it seems most people think the same. Most people are hetero and driven by sexual desires, so advertisers\the media target those people. I'm not sure what that's such a mystery...

Your "pants" are our "underwear/underpants." Are boxer shorts "pants" in the U.K.? Pants is generally used in a comical or derogatory manner, if talking matter of factly about underwear then "boxers" are used for the male, "Did you put your boxers in the...

They seem to forget that there are more sexualities out there than just hetero. You should move to the UK, watching the TV here you'd think half the population was gay, they are very much over-represented. The media says that if you aren't having it you are a lonely loser who is missing out. Look a...

I'm an excellent driver. If your driving is not affected then you don't need to say anything. If you passed your test then you've been deemed suitable to drive so unless you have a condition that wasn't evident when you passed your test that changes your ability to drive like narcolepsy, fits and so...

Isn't democracy terrible! It's so frustrating. People should have the same opinions that I do and if they don't they should somehow be forced to change. It's about time we gave fascism a chance, huh?

When is it the right time for the FBI and police to give the public the information they have, do you think? It's often never, it's the cornerstone of "intelligence". Building knowledge about people and things that other people don't know you have. In the UK we only found out what the pol...

The article mentioned kids getting arrested for schoolyard fights and pushing a teacher, not equivalent to violent crime. You might not consider a pupil pushing a teacher to be a violent crime but the teacher probably does, and so does the law. But let's not get sidetracked here, I know you'd like ...

on, maybe they would have found old Jack. Covering up the information obviously did nothing except get more people murdered. There was nothing of interest in the files and nothing that would have helped solve the crime. Just because the police keep things secret as standard process doesn't mean the...

So now we have a receipt with 2 people eating in Paddocks room. We have his card being used to the room when he is obviously gone. Maybe a second shooter on another floor. This whole thing stinks to high heaven. I still am wondering about the 75 min it took for the raid into Paddocks room. Miss Con...

Yes, it's in error, but an awful lot of people DO call sticky tape "sellotape" and a tannoy a tannoy. There I just did it too. Is it just killing you inside and has it ruined your day? Talk about pedantic. Get the f**k over it. Not all people use brand names for things but an awful lot of...
