Lol don't worry, for me "corrupting" is just slang for someone getting someone else into something that they're into. :)

And I know she's not a member here, but I sue my Mum for spraying really overpowering air freshener around the room! I can't stand air freshener... :P

I confess that I just broke my laptop. :( I leaned over to grab my iPod lead, and the laptop fell off my lap onto the floor. It now has a green line going down the screen!

I sue Strapples for inspiring me to become rather interested in powerchairs and wheelchairs. :P

I love flying, particularly in microlights. :) My Dad flies them and is a flying instructor, and he always used to take my sisters and me to the aerodrome where he flew. It feels amazing to fly in microlights, especially in summer (it's lovely and cool up there when it's too hot down on the ground! ...

OK. This may be an odd topic, but I have to ask this question. Does anyone else here ever get the feeling that other people can read your mind? I'm not talking about hearing voices like a schizophrenic. I mean that I will be thinking about something to myself, and another person (frequently my husb...

I tend to walk on my toes quite a bit, particularly if I'm bare-footed or nervous. I occasionally stand on my toes as well (although that could be because I'm the shortest one in my family, and have to do that to reach anything high up! ), and just generally find it more comfortable than walki...

I think right now, my biggest concern is just getting my life back on track. I've been suffering from agoraphobia and panic disorder for over a year now, but I'm finally starting to get over them, or at least learning to cope with them. I've started volunteering at my local autistic society, and rig...

I know a woman who prefers to type on her computer and have the computer do the talking. I felt slightly awkward, at first when we first met but soon it felt natural. Kudos to her for communicating on her own terms and not giving up on what works for her, even if it is unusual. That does sound like...

I've noticed increasingly these days that I tend to be a lot more fluent in what I say when I type, rather than when I speak. Often I end up stuttering when I talk, and can barely get words out at times, especially when trying to explain anything (it can sometimes take almost a full minute just for ...

If you live in the North West, Autism Initiatives may be able to help. :) According to their website, they do help people with autism and AS find work and support them whenever needed, so if you live fairly locally it might be worth talking to them.

My two sayings that I live by are "Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it sure gets all your questions answered!" (one that my Dad taught me), and "Who knows what will happen if you ask." :)
