This is a good list. What do they mean by living as a "non-failure?" Does this have to do with perfectionism? I agree on the part about "there's always time." Sometimes, there isn't. I saw myself go from being a child to a middle-aged woman without really growing up in between, e...

I was very surprised at how fast I picked up ballroom dancing because I thought of myself as something of a klutz. The same applies to tennis lessons. Maybe interest and dedication made up for my lack of natural skills.

Completing Level 1 in the Toastmasters Pathways program. I performed the speech last night that helped me reach that goal. Printing the documentation, however, is another story. The speeches are done, now to access the evaluation materials.

I'm a cat lover. I'm in Toastmasters and enjoy it. I love tennis, both watching and playing. I am a fan of Nadal, Federer and Istomin. Denis Istomin is my most inspirational player. Nadal and Federer are my favorites, both for their on court accomplishments and because they are nice guys and practic...

Interestingly, people here are talking about lip balms. I did a speech about communication and leadership using lip products as a starting point. The speech was based on a book by a Toastmaster and motivational speaker, Sharla Fritz.

I can't get into my Pathways program for a Level Completion in Toastmasters. (But at least I know I completed the tasks. It's just a matter of getting the requisite forms printed, which is a pain.)

I'm embarrassed to say yes to this question. When I was in my 20s, I failed at an Instructional Aide job because I couldn't operate the photocopying machine and it made me upset. I felt like a loser and a failure. I never thought I would ever work at the same place for 16 1/2 years, but here I am now.

The arrangement was pretty nice, but there were other aspects of the college campus environment I didn't like, and I am glad to be done with forever.

What was your favorite college class?
