hahahahahha...I am not laughing at any replies. Just laughing at how different it was when I was growing up. And, it was different. My Dad would tell me to get back out and clean their clock. His motto: Never start it, but finish it. And, whether you win or lose, you did your best. Basically, if the...

......I was overloaded with sensory input just standing on the sidewalk, so I just spent most of my time comfortably in my hotel room. I literally felt like I was hiding out in a bunker while a war raged around me. Big cities are an absolute nightmare as far as directions are concerned. That happen...

Ummm, no, there was nothing more than that. It is a VA hospital. There are a lot of people there that are very, very much on the edge. A person can look fine and then, woomp, do something drastic. Also, the fear of litigation extends to many other things. But, also, if you seeing people and you are...

I think whatever therapist you see should accept and understand your ASD diagnosis and understand the unique challenges ASD causes otherwise they won't get the whole picture. They should, but many times, they are still catching up. They also, unless they seek specialty training, tend to follow obse...

Doesn't matter what you say or where you are. They are all on the lookout for 'buzz words' so that if something does happen, then they can't be sued for not taking precautions. I almost got sent for 72 hour observation because I did that thing that you see in movies where you pantomime a gunshot to ...

Hope this was day 1 of improvement. It is day one and we shall see how well I navigate the future. I think it has a better chance this time now that I know more about what I am dealing with. First step is to push my butt out the door and start to do things to break these cycles. The dissolution of ...

I don't see a weird thing here. A couple of unique things, but not weird.

Mine are all cliche and have been mentioned.

My biggest problem is dealing with a group of people who do not understand it, yet think they do. And they can be really dismissive. To the point that I am firing my current therapist. And yes, that is how I see it. Their job is to service you. Just like any other professional, there will not always...

Yeah, I can go with that. But, no social instincts LOL But, yeah. At least the people that are treating me for the Asperger's understand how much all this has been unsettling. And, man, did I crash all last week. My sleep is all messed up. I've reverted back to my natural nocturnal state. And, witho...

This is a blog post I made at GRASP. But, it may never see the light of day and it is pertenent to this community and those who know me. There are three dates that will be with me forever. Not counting children and other things like. The personal dates. January 16, 1998: Stopped using cocaine and en...

It has just gotten unbelievably chaotic with all the appointments and filing for the divorce on Tuesday and trying to just tread water. But, yeah, it's a work in progress.

Always looking for some good news myself so here it is:

Irwin Allen, who created 'Lost in Space' and bunches of other things, almost got it right in 'Lost in Space.' They detected a habitable planet around Proxima Centauri b. The Jupiter II's mission was to Alpha Centauri. Sooo close......

Thank you. I have missed being here. But, and I know you guys understand this, just too much going on and no brain cells left. Still bad as I have to completely redesign my life now. Again, you guys know how that can be. Everything has to change and I have no idea how long it will take me to adapt. ...

So, I haven't been here or a while. A lot of things have gone on. Had a less than stellar home health aid. Caused me to actually lose two months of important activity due to her just never calling or responding to anything. I guess someone at their office is bothering her because no word from them i...

I actually got told yesterday that I had a sense of humour and they found that odd because they were under the impression that Autistic people don't have a sense of humour. When they told me about that, I showed them a picture of me taken in an impromptu moment, i.e. my real expression when not mask...
