Who has time to dance around the facts?

There is no point at all in being scared of something over which you have no control at all. Most of life's events steam-roll through with no regard to ones wishes, thoughts or feelings; better to accept what is and go with the flow.

You think prevalent is bad? I was once ridiculed for saying that something was picked randomly. The words "OOOOH, RANDOM?" were echoed back in a mocking tone, as if they thought it was an exotic word, like I should only be saying such things if working for NASA. . Was this person in their 20's? Som...

100% choice. As far as the ones Ive known through my ex gf who was big into the whole gay activism thing. All of them chose to be gay or had someone mess them up as a kid and they were gay from being molested or something else. Didnt know a single one that was gay because they were "Born" that way....

I'm liking 1.5 - lots of nasty bugs squashed, the main one being that the guards in Markarth are no longer trying to kill me on sight. I'd found a few more extra locations yet the release notes don't make any mention of those. Maybe I'm wrong and they were there all along, but I'm sure I'd explored ...

Well, if they really consider that to be an enjoyable activity I'm not really surprised they can't master anything more than the first statement.

It is a personal choice to diagnose, but putting head in sand when you have real problems seems daft. Who is putting their head in the sand? If you are managing though and have no problems, well you probably could only be diagnosed by yourself anyway, but that's a delusion for another day. Managing...

I was satisfied with self diagnosis, but people closest to me had trouble accepting it, because I'm high-functioning and intelligent, which people for some reason don't believe people with AS can be. I sought an official diagnosis so that I could work on my relationships with people through their h...

In what way well this help you out? just wondering sense I have some people looking to get me diagnosed, but it would cost a lot of money. Not trying to be mean by asking this. Don't you want to know? I am starting to get annoyed by the not knowing. Diagnosis might be pricey where you are, but spre...

Stunning.

They are just ashamed of their ignorance.

Don't "dumb it down". How else will people otherwise improve and expand their vocabulary?

"No" should be sufficient. You don't owe anyone in life any explanation at all. people will press for a "reason" because then they will look for a way to undermine your decision for their own ends or because they feel they know whats better for you than you do. That is the way it works; leverage and...
